== Motivation ==
Historically, there has been a lot of claimed territory that is effectively unused, usually because the person that made the claim
* claimed *way too much*, and haven’t been able to use all of it; or
* hasn’t been active on the server in months; or
* has left the server altogether.

This wasn’t really an issue in the early days of the server because there was a lot of unclaimed land left, but the map is getting more and more filled in now. Ultimately, it doesn’t really benefit anyone if there are huge areas that both are empty and which no-one can use.

== Rules ==
The following rules apply to both new and old claims:
# Claims should be small enough such that you can reasonably make use of most of the claimed territory within a reasonable amount of time.<ref>Basically, the question is ‘is your claim so big that you’re never reasonably going to make use of most it’; if yes, it’ll be reduced; additionally, if your claim is fairly small to begin with, it’s fine if it’s largely unused. We also considered defining exact limits here but decided that it wasn’t really worth it.</reF>
# Relatedly, you can’t expand your claim if most of your current claim is unused; if you want to claim a landmark somewhere, that’s fine, but then ''only'' claim that landmark and some of the surroundings and ''not'' everything in between it and your current claim.
# To expand an existing claim or make a new claim, you must be an active<ref>Unless stated otherwise, ‘being active’ here includes not just playing on the server but also talking in any of the channels in the ‘Minecraft’ category. Additionally, it’s fine to be gone for a while if you announce ahead of time that and when you’ll be back; however, anyone who has left the server without any such announcement or who has been banned is obviously not active.</ref> player on the server. It’s possible for multiple players to share a claim.<ref>This permits claims made by the UŊ.</ref>
# There are a number of claims that are just way too big and which will be reduced in size; we still need to figure out what claims exactly that applies to.
# If someone hasn’t been active for a number of months, their claims may be reduced in size to encompass only a small buffer zone (like 100–200 blocks) around any structures they’ve built within their claims.
# Claims that are fairly small may be exempt from this.
# Any natural maritime territory (lakes, oceans, rivers), but ''not'' player-made canals or lakes, does not count as unused claimed territory.
# If someone hasn’t been active for a number of months and additionally doesn’t respond to any of our questions as to when they’d be active again, their claims will be dissolved.
# The same applies if someone leaves the server without any indication of ever returning (we’ll wait a few days to see if they come back in that case).
# If someone hasn’t ''played'' on the server for over a year, irrespective of other participation, their claims may be dissolved (we’ll reach out to you ahead of time before doing that).
# If someone is banned, their claims are dissolved immediately.
# If someone’s claim would be reduced or dissolved as per the rules above, and the claim in question is shared, instead that person only loses ownership over the claim, and the claim is reexamined for reduction or dissolution.
# If, after someone’s claim has been dissolved, that person later rejoins, they do ''not'' regain their claim or any of the items that used to be part of it. They have to start from scratch, basically.
# A dissolved claim is terra nullius, and anything contained therein is for anyone to do with as they see fit.<ref>The UŊ may decide to protect such structures, or someone else may claim them, but this is outside the remit of the server rules.</ref>
# Excluded from this are structures that are part of server infrastructure, specifically rail lines and roads. These may also be built outside any claimed territory provided they actually serve a purpose and destroying them is disallowed; players may, however, relocate rail lines within their own territory if they are in the way, provided that this doesn’t prevent others from using the rail line so modified.
# Some unclaimed territory that did ''not'' result from a recent dissolution of a claim may contain pre-existing player-made structures that are not infrastructure. It is generally not permitted to modify or destroy such structures without first claiming the area that contains them.
# When establishing such a claim for the purpose of modifying an existing structure, this must be stated explicitly, and the claim must be approved before any modifications can be made.<ref>If the structure under consideration is of importance, the claim is likely to be rejected, but such structures should usually be claimed.</ref>
# It is likewise not permitted to build any new structures of this sort in unclaimed territory. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. In particular, this rule does not apply to the nether, where building new structures is allowed anywhere, so long as they are reasonably far away from other player’s structures.<ref>What counts as ‘reasonably far away’ is up to your would-be neighbours, so talk to them first.</ref>

== Additional Comments ==
Regarding the entire ‘will’ system that is currently in place, I’d like to make a point that people who have been banned from or left the server do ''not'' have a say in what anyone else can or cannot do, and they ''especially'' don’t get to decide how their previous claims are to be used by others.

''If'' they left amicably and ''if'' their wishes are reasonable (e.g. ‘maybe don’t blow up that one thing I built’), then you guys are free to decide whether or not e.g. some buildings should become protected by the UŊ or something. In this case, such a protected area should encompass only said buildings so the surrounding land can be repurposed.

Note, though, that going against the wishes of someone who’s no longer on the server is ''not'' against the server rules, just like how breaking a UŊ law isn’t against the server rules either. However, someone who has left trying to decide what others can or cannot do ''is'' expressly against the server rules from now on.

'''Mediumwave''' was an admin in Nguhcraft [[Season 1]] who was mostly active during the early period of the server (2020-2021). They were the creator of Sealand (also known as Ŋealand), a structure in the ocean similar to the real-world [[wikipedia:Principality_of_Sealand|Sealand]]. A copy of Sealand was built and named Sealand 2.0, this was a protected region. It is unknown if the original Sealand was also protected. The purpose of either Sealands is currently unknown. Mediumwave also had an island where they had captured a zombie with a jack-o-lantern head and named them Fraŋk.

This wiki is maintained by many active members of the server and hopes to document the goings on of the server and the many entities within. On Nguhcraft, players have been creating countries, building cities and monuments, and engaging in foreign relations with other countries for over a year now, much of which is documented on this wiki. The current server is Season 2 of Nguhcraft. [[Season 1]] was a previous server that was deleted, save for some important structures which were brought to the new server (with the exception of an Enderman farm, which will be placed in the End after the Ender Dragon is defeated).

The first incident occurred on the 8th of June, 2025. It was noted on 10:15 GMT that ‘the lag was unbearable’<ref>https://discord.com/channels/697450809390268467/835185858864218122/1381199932282896465</ref>. Half an hour later, the server would crash every time [[Sourrabbit]] or [[BE]] logged on. This happened 13 times in total.

[[Ætérnal]] logged on an hour later to discover the server was crashing due to the length of a single tick exceeding 60 seconds, leading it to shut down with the presumption that there was a bug in the code.<ref>https://discord.com/channels/697450809390268467/767569743229747220/1381240253892792370</ref> This was thus a slowdown of 1200x, compared to 2x in the [[Chickenpocalypse]]. He then noted there were 32,241 item entities currently loaded on the server, all of which were checking for collision with one another due to being in the same chunk, which is what led to the slowdown in the first place.

After deleting all these entities, they continued to be produced, as there was a chunk loader present to keep the flow stable, and the chests had overflown. It was found to all be wool.<ref>https://discord.com/channels/697450809390268467/767569743229747220/1381234540080660592</ref> Following the incident, [[Ætérnal]] banned chunk loader abuse and water transport without incinerators. [[BE]] deleted the chunk loaders and shut down the farm.

== The Second Incident ==

From 4:16 to 6:17 GMT on 12 June, the server crashed another 11 times. This time, the number of item entities was even larger, at 47,604 (i.e. approx 2 209 000 000 collision checks per tick). '''Cenrail''', often stylized as ''Cenrail®'', despite not having any qualifications for a trademark, is a Kyawcenni railway company based in [[Yija]] which today operates the majority of railways in Nguhcraft, connecting locations in 35 different countries, as well as several international points of interest, such as [[Phoeŋix]] and the [[Slab Exchange]]. Founded in [[Parkow]] by [[Marcy I|Marcy Sheikah]] in December 2023, the company quickly grew from the realms around the Central Sea to cover the entire Great Sea seaboard in the span of only three months, absorbing several independent rail services as it grew outward. Today, Cenrail continues to expand, collaborating with national governments to build new lines to ever more distant locations. Cenrail has a subsidiary named [[Leshrail]] which operates in the nether.

'''Cenrail''', often stylized as ''Cenrail®'', despite not having any qualifications for a trademark, is a Kyawcenni railway company based in [[Yija]] which today operates the majority of railways in Nguhcraft, connecting locations in 35 different countries, as well as several international points of interest, such as [[Phoeŋix]] and the [[Slab Exchange]]. Founded in [[Parkow]] by [[Marcy I|Marcy Sheikah]] in December 2023, the company quickly grew from the realms around the Central Sea to cover the entire Great Sea seaboard in the span of only three months, absorbing several independent rail services as it grew outward. Today, Cenrail continues to expand, collaborating with national governments to build new lines to ever more distant locations. Cenrail has a subsidiary named [[Leshrail]] which operates in the nether.

The Central Line (formerly the Northern line) began with a simple connection between Parkow (then known as Kyaw Cen) and Port Marcy. The Central line formerly contained the only single-tracked segment of rail in the entire network, running from Spawn to the Hole, but as of of 7 September 2024, the Central Line has no single-tracked segments anymore.

The first rail line of the Transversal Line, the Parkow-Imerchal connection, was originally a part of the Central Line, and was reassigned as part of the Transversal Line with the re-organization of Parkow station to create a single throughline from Mitthumm to Kozdenen. On 4 June 2024, it was merged with the Phoeŋix Line, which comprised the northwestern portion of the line from Phoeŋix to [[Tantsang|Tanzang]]. It is currently the longest contiguous rail line in the world.

== Geography ==

Vilantnen is situated in the [[Land of Chaos]], east of [[Latium]] and directly south/east across the river from [[Paul]]. It may be accessed by [[Cenrail]] via the Mountain Line. Vilantnen is almost entirely comprised of plains, forests, groves, stony shores and savannahs. Vilantnen has 5 territories:

* [[Arbustivum]], a condominium with Latium
* [[Mziuri]], a condominium with [[T'anshilebs]]
* Manitarilant, an archipelago of Mushroom Islands east of [[Stej Ven]]
* [[Gazhelant]], a grid territory bought from the [[BIG SHOT MINECRAP SALE!!!]]
* sq's application to the [[Gulf Union|gulf union]], a beach on the southern coast of the [[Gulf of Kozdenen]]
* [[Surprise]], a peninsula and condominium with [[Xarslasja]]

Because of this, Vilantnen has been "lovingly" referred to as "Phoeŋicia". [[Evil Scamming Country]] only recognises the territory of Vilantnen which has an even x-coordinate.<ref>https://discord.com/channels/697450809390268467/767569743229747220/1352176722027745300</ref> Vilantnen has a history of expansionism similar to that of [[Kingdom of Kyaw Cen]]'s [[Questionable Party]]. Because of this, they have been denied observer admission to both the [[Gulf Union]] and possibly the [[Far Eastern Rail and Road Association]].
== History ==
On 17 December 2024, sq logged onto the server for the first time, where he was teleported to [[Pallescentium|Pallēscēntium]] by the god [[Agma Schwa]] to join [[theidealist]] and [[CMC]] to see creakings and the pale garden. 5 days later, on 22 December, sq declared Vilantnen independent after wandering around [[Arbustivum]] and Paul. Leshrail Roof contains all of its rail lines on the roof of the nether. It was founded and is managed by [[Suqi]]. Before it joined Leshrail, it was only intended to make faster travel between the places Suqi frequents. The goal of Leshrail Roof is to maximize efficiency, so any additions are welcome, but Suqi must be consulted in order for all parties to develop an optimal layout. The growing quantity of Leshrail Roof lines has brought a need to divide the lines into 4 general groups, which are not structurally distinct. They are Central Roof, West Roof, North Roof, and South Roof.

After the [[Coup Sabah]] and the [[Battle of Flagstaff]], [[Xarslasja Port Authority]] Dmacuv [[Gu Sabah]] and his supporters fled Flagstaff but held onto the city of [[Tucson]] along with the islands of [[La Paz County]].

== November 2024 ==
On November 6th, 2024, the [[Xarslasja Legislative Authority]] began a direct occupation of Flagstaff and began rebuilding from the damages of the Battle of Flagstaff. [[Memorial Park]] was opened as a reminder of the brutal struggle.

Gu Sabah made no public announcements after the battle, but it was rumored that he had either fled to [[West Pua]] or to [[Far Harbor]]. Much of the XPA and its supporters fled from Flagstaff when the occupation began, coalescing in Tucson or hiding in the untamed wilderness of [[Coconino County|Coconino County.]] The county leadership had declared its abstention from participating in the Xarslasja Legislature and also that they would not respond to federal laws that they disagreed with, including the arrest warrant for Gu Sabah and other traitorous members of the XPA.

Surprisingly, [[Agamashuya I|Bezuv Agamashuya I]] made no efforts to immediately recapture the islands or the city of Tucson, opting instead to rebuild what had been damaged during the fight, especially in [[Core Xarslasja]].

On November 17th, 2024, Gu Sabah made a surprise appearance in the outskirts of [[Nogales]], leading many to believe he was hiding somewhere in the forest of western [[Santa Cruz County]].

== December 2024 ==
In December, Havasu Island and Globe were firmly taken over by the new [[Xarslasja Royal Navy]], though no new construction began.

[[Tucson]] became firmly entrenched as the headquarters of the Gu Sabah Insurgency, and the entirety of the forest along the [[Oak River]] was declared "unsafe" for the public. The town of Naco claimed to have no allegiance and remained neutral.

== January 2025 ==
In early January, the [[Thasusa By Land Initiative]] became a national priority of both the Bezuv and the Legislature and several new bridges were constructed crossing international boundaries. Tucson was declared an ideal location to build one of such bridges to reach Allium in what was then still [[West Pua]]. The XPA confronted the construction team and its accompanying battalion of [[Xarslasja Terrestrial Army]] (XTA) soldiers. As a result, a battle ensued. A few bombs were launched, and a makeshift wall was rapidly constructed on the east edge of the city that sucessfully prevented the XTA and the construction crew from building the bridge at its original location. As such, the road was rerouted around the core of Tucson and the bridge was built outside of the city limits.

Several citizens were reported missing in the forest area between Tucson and Naco.

Reports of armament in the Harbor Islands was reported.

== February 2025 ==
On February 6th, a coup took place in [[West Pua]] that led to most of the territory's reincorporation into [[East Pua]], forming a repunified [[Pua]]. Gu Sabah, an ardent supporter of West Pua, saw this as unacceptable. Quickly, XPA soldiers were seen crossing the [[Oak River]] utilizing the bridge they had so recently protested. It appeared that the southwest banks of the Oak River had been seized.

== April 2025 ==

At the end of March, the [[Repunification]] of [[East Pua]] and [[West Pua]] into one single [[Pua]] was completed. Thus, [[Gu Sabah]] lost his biggest remaining state supporter, West Pua. This also meant that recent XPA incursions across the Oak River were now grounds for a full-on invasion.

Agamashuya I called upon a coalition of nations to surround the city of Tucson on April 9th, 2025. Supported by Imerchal, Hummland, and Kyaw Cen, the XTA successfully liberated the surface of Tucson from the XPA.

the Hertskomestat Syndicate, shortened to 'the Hertskomestat' or 'The Syndicate' is a series of 4 territories headquartered in western [[greenland]]. It is a syndaclist society ruled by a democraticly elected council.

===Klakkenbutsh===

The Klakkenbutsh Exclusion Zone is a cordoned area surrounding a pale oak biome. It will be connected to the [[Hertskomestat-Klakkenbutsh line]] and will be home to a Hertskomestat research facility. It's name is of unknown origin.

Bairland is a small cherry grove near the northeast of the map. It's name comes from the [[Midelisk]] word 'Bair', meaning 'grove'.

The Hertskomestat currently operates 1 rail line, and is constructing a second. All Hertskomestat rail lines are operated under the [[Hertskomestat Vraktspor]].

The Hertskomestat's Central Station is currently under construction.

The Hertskomestat Syndicate was established on april 23rd, 2025. it expanded to negypt on May 5th of that year, and then again to Klakkenbutsh and Bairland on the 11th.

Dhourigkàn is a rather mountainous area, with various climates and biomes such as Badlands, Jungles and Savannas and a small Desert. The main point of entrance is located east of the country, in the form of the port city of Azaranhat.

Dhourigkàn's north border mostly follows the Url river, separating it from [[Hentzo]]. The south border is defined in the east by the Kiñ-Rin river, and in the west by the physical border with the Kizhipöt desert (more commonly known as Ŋegypt).

Azaranhat (English: /'azəɹan,hat/; Gunerazantya: /'azaɾan,hat/) is a desert port city east of Dhourigkàn.

===Zharìd===

Zharìd (English: /ʒa'ɹɪt/; Eirvau: /ʒaʁɪt/) is a savanna town located west of Dhourigkàn. Its most notable feature is a Nether Portal right in the middle of it.

===Rintìh City===

Rintìh City (English: /ɹɪn'tɛɪ sɪti/), also known as Skër-Rintìh (English: /skɛɹ ɹɪn'tɛɪ/; Eirvau: /skɛʁ ʁin'tɪ:/) is an on-going building project in the middle of Dhourigkàn, located inside the notorious Rintìh mountain. It is destined to become the coapital city of the country, as a symbol of the creation of the United Republic of Dhourigkàn between the Azaranian, Eirvau and Ippi people.

On 11 May 2025, [[DIMA]] had a crash out due to "others having fun while [they] were not", and vandalised several pages such as the [[Main Page]] and [[Cenrail]], replacing the text content of these pages to keyboard spam, slurs and other profanity. Some silly mistakes included typos and also when he copied the text from wherever he got it, he forgot to remove a small bit of text that said "Text Art" (I copied this from [[Chronos]]). He is regarded to be one of the worst unskilled and lame wannabe [[Breel]]<nowiki/>s in the history of [[Nguhcraft]]. Dima seems uncapable of basic [[English]] grammar, especially tense, just like [[sq]], the writer of this sentences.
