The Coldban Menace (Śácamþaśá: {{Script|script=thl|t=trIgni npAlqo}} Qáwpan Niŋret) is a conspiratorial political theory in [[Þunan Qumreá]] and [[Maraśa]], which portrays [[Coldba]] and its allies (in particular [[Realm of Madness]]) as an agent of evil whose sole aim is to undermine civilisation.

== Origin ==
[[Coldba]] has been a geopolitical rival critical of [[Þunan Qumreá]] since the latter‘s conquest of [[Ŋájaþáw]], which had originally been the base of janvs, one of Coldba‘s citizens. It was thus harshly critical of Þunan Qumreań Colonial Policy, and its settlement of the area in general. This led to Coldba and its allies proposing [[United Ŋations Meetings|UŊ Motions]], as well as openly criticising the colonial regime.

However, the theory did not fully come into being until [[Coup Sabah]], when the two nations found themselves in a proxy war over [[Xarslasja]], one of [[Þunan Qumreá]]‘s neighbours. The Port of Eras is extremely diverse in biomes. Notable ones include swamps, dark forests, savannah, beaches, and a birch forest.

The evermore Era is the Era that sprawls along the center-north area of the Port. It is mainly a former dark oak forest, but the main build, a large willow tree, sits on a near-floating island that sits in the east of the Era. The main build has a restaurant and train station below it. There is also another station in the former forest. The evermore Era borders the Fearless Era to the east, and the THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT Era to the west. The evermore Era uses a warm brown as its color.

This Era houses the Post Office of Eras. It will also play host to several lyrically-based builds to recreate narratives from the album.

The large willow tree has not yet started construction, as it is a megaproject, and thus requires an enormous amount of resources. It will be at least 50 blocks tall when completed.

This Era is primarily maritime, with some limited coastal areas. The land area is beaches with some rocky outcroppings. On the western coast, a rocky peninsula extends into the Midnight Sea that makes up the Era; several islands also sit just off the end of it. Towards the end of the peninsula sits the Midnights Lighthouse, the main build. Towards the north, the second local rail station is a bus stop for the Bejeweled Ballroom. == Foreign Relations & History ==
Being a daughter of [[Coldba]], the Port of Eras maintains close relations with its mother nation. The Port of Eras is also a member of the [[AAA]], and as such has close ties with the other members, including Coldba, [[Oberia]], and formerly the [[Realm of Madness]]. Other than these nations, the Port is cordial but not necessarily aligned with the majority of the other nations.

The Port of Eras is a member of the [[United Ŋations]]. However, they do not plan to send a representative in person to any future meetings due to issues with the chaotic meetings. They, however, remain an active member and will be voting in absentia.

After the 19th meeting of the United Ŋations, the Port of Eras temporarily ceased relations with [[Þunan Qumreá]]. The exact reasons are unknown, but it is theorized that there was disgruntlement with the Thunannese delegation gutting the Port's resolution on abandoned items. Relations were restored the following day.

The Port of Eras purchased the Grand Palace from [[T'anshilebs]]. It was bought for 4 slabs by [[Fin]], as he was enamored with it, and [[Lambda]], the original builder, was not. It was moved to the evermore Era. The Port and T'anshilebs maintain close and friendly relations, and have mutual embassies.

The Port of Eras is close with the neighboring [[Rauratoshan Kingdom]], and the two nations share mutual embassies and have had friendly relations since the latter's founding.

In May of 2025, the Port of Eras and [[The Hertskomestat Syndicate]] had several diplomatic spats. This culminated in a large incident over the borders of [[Reimusia]].

As of June 2025, development of the Port has stopped due to Fin's personal health issues and lack of motivation to play besides to fulfill prior commitments. Development is not currently planned to resume; the Port is still a fully functional and sovereign state.

While claiming [[Suspicion Island]] for [[North Amuj]], the North Amujan Gepach [[Iris]] spotted an entire crop farm, a cave, an autosmelter, and some illegal contraband in a "gift box" from the old world, gathered by a person who seemed to be a [[Season 1]] player going by the username "QWLman", who was later identified as the player [[User:Suqi|Suqi]]. Among the items was a copy of the [[Book of IPA]], containing every* single symbol used in the International Phonetic Alphabet. The reason that Iris marked the "gift box" as illegal contraband was because it was a shulker box, which are impossible to attain in [[Season 2]] due to [[Ætérnal]] disabling the End.

On 2024-09-17, Suspicion Island, along with the [[Kuzhgub Peninsula]] and the [[East Kuzhgub Islands]] (later renamed to the [[Zhekaus Islands]], and now known as the [[Jē Mẽo Islands]]) broke away from [[North Amuj]] to form [[South Amuj]].

On 2024-09-23, Jukbuch [[Ian]] renamed Suspicion Island to '''Ehdohsaw'''.

==History==

Coldba (Cuba)'s history on [[Season 2|Nguhcraft Season 2]] started in Early-to-Mid January 2022 with Kate finding and building in a small portion of North Coldba Island. She had a small hole in a glacier with her stuff, and built a large fort.. then she logged off and didn't log back on again until June 2024.

On June 12th, 2024, Kate rejoined Nguhcraft and she officially declared the [[Coldba (Cuba)|Empire of Coldba (Cuba)]]. Shortly thereafter there was a meeting to get Coldba (Cuba) admitted into the [[United Ŋations]]. At the time of writing Coldba (Cuba) remains a member.

On July 23rd, 2024, The Coldban (Cuban) citizen of MAGNVS laid out claims for his new country of [[Oberia]], unknowingly claiming the [[Showhen Islands]] that the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen had wanted to claim. While MAGNVS was away from the discussion, Quing Marcy jokingly threatened starting a world war over the islands, to which Kate, the Empress of Coldba (Cuba), stated that she would protect her citizen MAGNVS and her ally of Oberia in such a conflict. Things heated up as Namnak, the Magistrate of Enkavak, announced he was an ally of Kyaw Cen and as such join on the side of Kyaw Cen. Luckily for Kyaw Cen and Enkavak, things cooled down when MAGNVS rejoined the discussion and offered a peaceful solution to the issue.

On July 23rd and 24th of 2024, Kate attempted to claim a colony for Coldba (Cuba) in the island of [[Birchill]] but a neighbour to the islands, [[Þunan Qumreá]] declared plans to expand to those islands in the near future. Kate then decided to back down from those claims.

On July 27th, 2024, On behalf of Fin, Kate claimed the area of Port Fin as a colony of Coldba (Cuba).

On August 3rd, 2024, Kate relinquished the area of Port Fin to Fin, as it became [[Port of Eras|the Port of Eras]].

On August 22nd, 2024, Kate expanded the claims of Coldba (Cuba) after hearing that Murbetia had disbanded.

On June 2nd, 2025, Kate was banned from the Nguhcraft Minecraft and Discord servers for a culmination of events with her mentioning her drama with [[Charlotte]]. She left [[Ann]] and [[Suwi]] in charge of the empire.

==Politics==
Coldba (Cuba), much like [[Old Cuba]], is an anarcho-monarchy with Ann as its Emperor and Suwi as its Vice Empress. The Emperor has supreme authority over what happens in the ŋation, though in Cuban fashion, a lot of freedom is granted to the citizens. The Vice Empress acts as the Emperor when the Emperor is unavailable, though with some limitations. When the Emperor is available, the Vice Empress holds no power.

On the 21st of April, 2024, [[SeoReadeHenn]] landed in Páþewár, [[Miŋejacár|Miŋejácár]] to explore the area which had been claimed by [[Þunan Qumreá]] the day before. A house had been spotted on the aerial map, but it had not yet been explored. Initially, [[Þunan Qumreá]] leadership believed it to be part of the settlement of [[Birchhill]]. When she came across the house, she found 12 double chests of materials in front of it. For the first couple of hours, the existence of the treasure was kept secret while it was covertly transported to [[Þunan ŋáce|Þunan Ŋáce]]. During this time, [[Hilja]] found a slab on the floor of the house, placed by [[Ætérnal]].

The existence of the base and the fact that it contained a netherite hoe was then revealed by [[Hilja]]<ref>https://discord.com/channels/697450809390268467/835185858864218122/1231707678527455263</ref>. In part, this was because there was chorus fruit among the supplies, which was then considered contraband to be seized by [[Ætérnal]]. In addition, [[Miŋejacár]] had only been claimed by [[Þunan Qumreá]] the previous day and the country wished to avoid conflict over the territory should the news come out.

The discovery had an enormous impact on the position of [[SeoReadeHenn]], greatly increasing her power and influence in the country as her colonialist doctrines, previously ignored by many, became official state policy. In doing so, she partly reshaped [[Þunan Qumreá]] into a colonial power in her own image. This policy would later lead to tensions with [[Coldba (Cuba)]] and [[Oberia]].

In the days following the discovery, several people participated in an effort to decypher a hitherto unknown language, presumed to be a conlang made by JANVS, and which was found on several signs and in the names of items around the house. In Season 1, the Citadel was located in the southern portions of Wolfland, almost due north of [[Cuba]]. It is unclear when it was built in this season, but it featured prominently in [[Nguhstream]]s.

During this time, several rooms now included were not present. Also, the bookshelves in the basement were not chiseled bookshelves, but instead bookshelves mixed with [[bookshelf chests]].

However, when their portal opened into a hellish realm of lava and unfamiliar monsters rather than connecting to the Imperial Portal Network, the mood shifted fully towards anxiety. They surmised that the portal was malfunctioning as well, and while some thought that the discovery of a heretofore unknown portal-accessible region could be a boon to the advancement of science, a lack of incoming goods and new settlers, or ability to return home, coupled with an inability to connect to the System - the computational infrastructure which connects the Second Empire and provides automation of many functions - proved too worrying.

With no guarantee that they could find their way back home on the ''Candar'', the crew convened in council and after long hours of discussion, came to the deliberation to stay, build a new life, and hope that one day, they or their descendants might be able to find a way to connect to the Portal Network or the System.
