Audrey, aka Foobar111, or Proverb99 on discord, is the founder and ruler of [[New Jorvik|New Jorvik.]] She was born in the city of Jorvik in a land she calls England on August 30th of the year 987 AD. Three months after her fifteenth birthday, her parents and family were killed in an event she calls the St Brice's day Massacre, in which the English "scum" killed all the Danes of the land. During the conflict, Audrey blacked out, waking up in the world we know as Nguhcraft. From there, she travelled from land to land, eventually stumbling upon a ruined city formerly controlled by many [[Ŋation|Ŋations]]. She would rebuild this city, repurposing the archaic institutions, and using it to forge New Jorvik.

== Linguistics ==
Audrey, while speaking self-taught [[English|Modern English]], is also fluent in Old Norse, Old English, and a language she calls "[[Jórvisk Language|Jórvisk]]", which appears to be a descendant of Old Norse. Additionally, she is teaching herself the [[Jutish]] tongue, due to its recent status as an official language of her kingdom.
