Marcy has named themself after [https://amphibia.fandom.com/wiki/Marcy_Wu ''Marcy Wu''] from Amphibia. It's a great show, please go watch it.

''Sheikah'' is the name of [https://zeldawiki.wiki/wiki/Sheikah a tribe in the Zelda series]. It's a pseudonym they've used since early 2020 because they are a big fan of that video game series, especially Breath of the Wild.

Their [[Laevanaak]] name is ''Namnak Sika Moalak Namnakguddu Galvlvaveino''.

== Skin ==

Their former skin is based on Sheik, a character from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, but modified to have green eyes. In that game, Sheik was later revealed to actually be a girl (Zelda). This look was initially chosen in 2021, based on the name "Sheikah". Ironically, Marcy only discovered they were trans about a year later.

In early 2026, [[sal]] made a new, much more feline skin for Marcy, which they appreciate very much.

== Life ==
In late 2023, Marcy has founded the [[Kingdom of Kyaw Cen]], the first ever country in Nguhcraft [[Season 2]]. During that time, they also began building new railways connecting its territories, what later developed into the [[Cenrail network]] managed by their [[Cenrail (company)|company of the same name]]. In January 2024, they created the first ever political world map of Season 2, titled the “Big Map”. In February 2024, they went on to found the [[United Ŋations]], an interŋational organization aiming for closer cooperation between countries. In June 2024, they founded [[Cenroad]], a company with the purpose of building roads in Kyaw Cen, later becoming the official road construction company of the [[Gulf Union]] for the [[Gulf Road Network]]. In summer 2024, they started planning [[Nguhrovision Song Contest 2024|the first ever Nguhrovision Song Contest]], later hosted in [[Pfoas]], [[Mandate of Amuj|Amuj]] in November that year.

Marcy is not a good singer, has little knowledge about music theory and doesn't play any instrument. The base differs from most other settlements on Nguhcord by virtue of being almost entirely underground, with the only things above the surface being the main entrance, the back entrance, and the iron farm, which is located on top of the mountain. Everything else, such as crop farms, animals, and item storage, is located inside the mountain itself.

The block palette consists mainly of stone bricks, deepslate, smooth stone, and oak and birch wood.

The base is located near the [[Gulf road G1]] that connects it to [[Yija]] and the [[Gulf of Kozdenen]]. The settlement of [[Xêgwar]] is located only about 200 metres to the southwest of the Svérigé.

The mountain is surrounded by temperate forests to the west, a taiga to the east, and a [[Cyerin Forest|birch forest]] to the south.

The eastern side of the mountain has several openings into a massive cave that Xoran had been turning into an underground forest.

===Bloodshed of Xêgwar===
In the November and December of 1693, the native [[Yakkanogi]]-speaking population of Xêgwar have suffered a massacre committed by the Kyawcenni colonizers in what they call the ''Bloodshed of Xêgwar''. About two thirds of the population were forced to abandon their homes, the rest were killed. Only about half of the people who fled survived the winter. Most houses in the town were burned down due to the colonizers' anti-Native sentiment. The Bloodshed of Xêgwar is widely viewed as the most devastating atrocity commited by Kyaw Cen during the colonization of Shingtsun. The government was not directly involved in the massacre, but the people who committed it were not punished afterwards. For many centuries, the massacre was denied by Kyaw Cen, until the governor of Shingtsun apologized for the massacre for the first time in December 2021, following major student-led protests in Xêgwar, [[Yija]], and [[Port Marcy]].

===Bloodshed of Xêgwar===
In the November and December of 1693, the native [[Yakkanogi]]-speaking population of Xêgwar have suffered a massacre committed by the Kyawcenni colonizers in what they call the ''Bloodshed of Xêgwar''. About two thirds of the population were forced to abandon their homes, the rest were killed. Only about half of the people who fled survived the winter. Most houses in the town were burned down due to the colonizers' anti-Native sentiment. The Bloodshed of Xêgwar is widely viewed as the most devastating atrocity commited by Kyaw Cen during the colonization of Shingtsun. The government was not directly involved in the massacre, but the people who committed it were not punished afterwards. For many centuries, the massacre was denied by Kyaw Cen, until the governor of Shingtsun apologized for the massacre for the first time in December 2021, following major student-led protests in Xêgwar, [[Yija]], and [[Port Marcy]].

==Name==
The Kingdom of Kyaw Cen was named after the city of Kyaw Cen (today [[Parkow]]), which served as the first capital of the kingdom. ''Kyaw Cen'' comes from Kyawcenni ''Kyawcen'' meaning "sand island". This is because the island the capital city has been built on consisted almost entirely out of sand. Due to being covered by a stone brick foundation, and later being greenified, the sand foundation of the city is now barely visible.

[[Marcyland]] is mostly covered in a dense jungle, which consists mainly of bamboo. The easternmost part, near Port Marcy, is less densely forested.

The [[Kyawcenni Archipelago]], officially administered as the ''Republic of Kyaw Cen'', consist of several islands with their own unique geography. The uninhabited North Island is covered in jungle, Kyaw Cen Island is mainly covered by the city of Parkow, Sheep Island is mainly plains, and the smaller islands to the west are entirely covered in sand.

[[Shingtsun]], as the largest republic of the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen, has the most varied geography. The western coast around [[Yija]] is a [[Yijan Savanna|savanna biome]], which becomes a more temperate plains region known as [[Shingtin]]. The eastern half of Shingtsun is covered in deciduous forests, with the terrain being flat in the centre of the republic (where [[Xêgwar]] is located) and more mountainous near the eastern border, rising to y=145 at the peak of [[Svérigé]]. The far east of the republic, past these hills, is covered in coniferous forest. [[Woclêw, Shingtsun|Woclêw]] is the only settlement in this area.

=== Settlement of Marcyland ===
The first settlement in the modern-day Kingdom of Kyaw Cen began sometime in late October or early November 2023, when the later founder of Kyaw Cen, [[Marcy I|Marcy Sheikah]], migrated from their [[Marcy's Secret Conlang Lab|old home]] in [[Bažahažyn]] to Marcyland, hoping to found a first settlement on the archipelago.<ref>https://discord.com/channels/697450809390268467/767569743229747220/1170565611798143028, https://discord.com/channels/697450809390268467/835185858864218122/1170571196090290267</ref>

In response to the destruction of Marcyland in [[The Raid]] on 13 November 2023, a migration to the Kyawcenni Archipelago and the planning of the first ever city on the islands began.

=== Early Kyaw Cen ===

On 28 December 2023, the first borders of a Kyawcenni realm were drawn<ref>https://discord.com/channels/697450809390268467/835185858864218122/1189730774950346793</ref>, marking the establishment of the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen. On the first [[United Ŋations Office for Cartography|political map]] drawn by Quing Marcy on 02 January 2024, the border of [[Shingtsun]] (at that time known as ''Riverland'') has been defined more precisely, showing [[Esasne]] and [[Byukyi]] as a part of its territory, which has gradually been expanding eastward the months after.

It was a founding member of the [[United Ŋations]] on 02 February 2024. The current ambassador of Kyaw Cen to the UŊ is [[Čęjen Hęstauy Dôwhôwm]].

On 04 May of that year, the eastern border of Shingtsun was moved to include almost all of [[Transtsaia]], stretching all the way to modern-day [[Sofao Tâsi]]. Also on that day an agreement with [[Imerchal]] about the establishment of [[Vanstèrel]], a condominium between it and Shingtsun, has been signed.

=== Contemporary Kingdom ===

On 22 May, the [[Constitution of the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen]] has been signed and ratified by the Quing, the Prime Minister and the governors of the three republics. This day was declared a [[List of holidays in the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen|ŋational holiday]].

On 01 July, the kingdom established [[Ŋibraltar]] as a condominium with [[Xarslasja]]. The city on the peninsula began construction just a few days after.

On 24 July, an agreement with the newly founded [[Oberia|Peasants' Republic of Oberia]] was made about the annexation of the [[West Showhen Islands]] by both countries as a condominium. Because of that, the kingdom had transferred [[Grass Island]] from [[Marcyland]] to a new ''[[Territory of the Showhen Islands]]'', which partially administered the condominium.

The country was a participant of the [[Scramble for Murbetia]] on 22 August 2024 following [[Dissolution of Murbetia|its dissolution]]. On that day, it has established the [[Territory of Kyawcenni Pua]] (today ''Pyuwa'') close to the former [[Murbetia|Murbetian]] subdivision of [[Scarecrow Harbour]], now bordering [[Pòjaj]] to the south and [[Coldba (Cuba)]] to the West.

Following the [[Amujxplosion]] on 08 October 2024, the kingdom started occupying the Thasusan part of [[North Amuj]] and [[Suspicion Island]] for peace in the region. On 4:06pm local time, [[Army of the White Sun|Kyawcenni forces]] have captured [[Drebzha]], hoisted the [[Flag of Kyaw Cen|Kyawcenni flag]] and established the [[Mandate of Amuj]], which was dissolved a month later on 02 November. On the same day, [[Kyaw Cen in the Nguhrovision Song Contest|Kyaw Cen won]] the [[Nguhrovision Song Contest 2024]] in [[Pfoas]].

German has been one of the official languages of the kingdom until 01 March 2025, when it was officially abolished.

On 14 May 2025, the kingdom annexed [[Mariland]], the area around [[Barzewmari]], which had previously just been a Shingtsunni outpost on the northern coast of [[Slabland]].

Following the dissolution of Oberia, the Showhen Islands became fully administered by Kyaw Cen on 6 September 2025.

Kyaw Cen is expected to host the [[Nguhrovision Song Contest 2025]] in [[Parkow Arena]] later this year.
