The Great Chest Locking was a series of ŋations using locks to secure their storages after a series of thefts in February and March of 2025.

Thefts
Chillvana Thefts
In February of 2024, Astaryuu took 12 diamonds from the Chillvana Storage, mistakenly believing it to be public. Fin discovered the theft, and the items were returned with no consequences, as this was unintentional.

In March, Maria Papiliana was caught by Fin attempting to take soul sand from the Chillvana Storage. She was unable to locate it before Fin, having not gotten a response to telling Maria the storage was private, killed her.

Nostalgiabricks' Serial Burglary
On March 13 & 14, Nostalgiabricks took valuable items from a number of nations. These included rare ores, gems, armor, and even beacons. The theft was discovered on March 14th by Namnak Xhesas in Yija, and Ætérnal confirmed and confiscated the stolen goods.

He took a diamond chestplate from the Port of Eras, but Fin was able to figure it out because Nostalgiabricks had gotten the advancement "Cover Me In Diamonds" before getting the advancement "Diamonds!"

Villagers in Yija were let out, and the fletching tables were stolen. Yija's beacons were also stolen.

The storage building in Stej Ven was broken into, and rare ores as well as enchanted books and some other items were taken.

The Kozdenen warehouse was also broken into; all valuables were taken, including all diamonds and ancient debris. A column of magenta wool was used to get back into the Cenrail station, which he subsequently tunnelled into due to not knowing where the entrance was.

Other items were also taken from the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen, including valuables.

Effects
Coldba (Cuba)
After the Chillvana Thefts, the Chillvana Storage was locked. This was the first Chest Locking in this wave of indcidents.

The Port of Eras
Fin also locked chests in his own ŋation as a response to a diamond chestplate being taken as part of the Nostalgiabricks incident.

Imerchal
Chalmòsique
Annwan declared their intent to lock the warehouse in Chalmòsique shortly after the Nostalgiabricks incident, despite not being a victim.

Sirenguard A.R.
StemonWasHere moved all items he considered valuable into locked chests located in the treasury in his residence, despite not being a victim.

Kozdenen
Doge Peleṽa of Kozdenen declined to strengthen protections despite being a noteworthy victim of the theft, as locking all chests in the warehouse would neccessitate a complete restructuring of its storage system due to the use of hoppers. He also stated that the locked door of the warehouse should already serve as a deterrent for any reasonable individual.

Rauratoshan
Rauratoshan's business Underflow Storage started locking all their chests, with exception to one "donation bin" chest at every location, even though Rauratoshan wasn't stolen from. Additionally, a branch of the business for Remulapola was fast-tracked.

Stej Ven
Viklo had installed a locked door for the storage house in Sta Wejs ahead of Nostalgiabricks's visit on the 14th, due to the already known theft of a diamond chestplate that had happened in the Port of Eras. However, Nostalgiabricks still broke into the storage building by digging a tunnel, proving that a locked door is not enough. Because of this, Viklo decided to lock the chests in the storage building.

The Complex
TheZipCreator decided to build a defense system for their storage.

Kingdom of Kyaw Cen
Monke Island
Following the Nostalgiabricks incident, Lux Moniridia, Governor of the Territory of Monke Island and head of the Grex Multiridianus, informed her headmates to lock their personal chests.

The first incident occurred on the 8th of June, 2025. It was noted on 10:15 GMT that ‘the lag was unbearable’. Half an hour later, the server would crash every time Sourrabbit or BE logged on. This happened 13 times in total.
Sourrabbit noted that "I think BE left a lot of items on the ground. I haven‘t been on in a bit”. The scale of the truth of that statement would quickly become apparent. Ætérnal logged on an hour later to discover the server was crashing due to the length of a single tick exceeding 60 seconds (60 Hr), leading it to shut down with the presumption that there was a bug in the code. This was thus a slowdown of 1200x, compared to 2x in the Chickenpocalypse. He then noted there were 32,241 item entities currently loaded on the server, all of which were checking for collision with one another due to being in the same chunk, which is what led to the slowdown in the first place.

After deleting all these entities, they continued to be produced, as there was a chunk loader present to keep the flow stable, and the chests had overflown. It was found to all be wool. Following the incident, Ætérnal banned chunk loader abuse and water transport without incinerators. BE deleted the chunk loaders and shut down the farm.
The Second Incident
From 4:16 to 6:17 GMT on 12 June, the server crashed another 11 times. This time, the number of item entities was even larger, at 47,604 (i.e. approx 2 209 000 000 collision checks per tick). Ætérnal logged onto the server two hours later, noting "It‘s the goddanm (sic) wool again” and "just going near their farm was lagging my game while ticks were frozen”. Following the incident, the wool farm was decommissioned and BE and Sourrabbit were banned from making any future farms. The cause was found to be a nether portal which continued to keep the chunk loaded.

On 6 May 2025, the Piglin Farm at Zer Makon Hertskomestat ut zer Pfaut Erxaf overflowed.

Preceding Events
At some point prior to 5 May, a zombie piglin farm was built by BE and sourrabbit. The efficient farm was intended to use entity cramming as a backup.

Incident
5 May
At some point, sourrabbit logged on, and began AFKing the farm.

6 May
At 15:03 MDT, Fin noticed no mobs were spawning in the Port of Eras. He decided to see if the issue was in Hertskomestat, as sourrabbit was the only other player online.

At 15:13 MDT, Fin arrived, and using the Tab key and the Xaero's map mod, identified the issue as being in Hertskomestat. At this time, BE joined the game, and Fin tried to alert him to the issue. The area was also severely laggy.

Approximately 5 minutes later, most of the piglins were killed, reducing the lag and fixing the issue.
Causes & Aftermath
BE and sourrabbit both suggested it was not the piglins hitting the mob cap. BE suggested server lag, while sourrabbit suggested it was bats.

Mob spawning returned to normal after the incident was resolved.

History
The organization was founded on July 4 2025 after a discussion between Binary Prime of Anaku and Accruenewblue of Dróstsiśtsi. Other ŋations in the region are encouraged to join, and a number have so far. The "founding members" are considered to be those who joined on July 4th or 5th of 2025, central US time, since the discord was created late in the evening.

On July 5th, after a poll, the Mountain Line was renovated to form a loop. This was the first significant action by LoCATE.

On October 5th, the organization was shifted to be a larger regional organization instead of focusing on transportation. For this, the name was shifted to officially be only LoCATE, with various backronyms in use.

Organization
LoCATE is headed by the President, currently accruenewblue; the only other position currently is Vice President, held by Binary.

Greenification refers to the war on pale oak trees committed by Adnar on October 5-6, 2025. Rauratoshanian authorities likened it to previous Greenification incidents, so it came to be referred to as such.

Process
Adnar announced it would kill all pale trees in the ŋorld on October 5, 2025. This caused an interŋational uproar, including the creation of the Fuck Around and Find Out initiative by Hajdislant. However, it was found that the announcement was made in error; it was intended to say they would kill all pale trees in Adnar. Still, Hajdislant needed to see Big Amogus say it themself for there to not be consequences - a request which Big Amogus fulfilled readily. After this, Big Amogus fired the secretary that made the error; a replacement would not be found for a while, though, as the war effort was more important.

Groups like the Royal Academy of the Rauratoshan Kingdom still spoke out against this, noting that Adnar's pale garden was the only substantial pale garden in the western hemiŋorld. The RARK announced intent on producing pro-pale garden content shortly after the announcement and revision. This would come in the form of a video essay, but production could not finish before the pale oak trees were all cut down - this was announced on 6 October 2025 at 1:08 AM Adnar time. On October 8, 2025, a joint effort by Elemental City, Vallis Ignium, and the Council of Azeria established the Pale Garden Preserve of Rauratoshan northwest of Elemental University.

On October 9, 2025, it was found that Adnar was using cruel and unusual punishment on its so-called prisoners of war. In response, Imerchal labelled Adnar a terrorist organization, much as they had previously done with the Evil Scamming Country, and the Royal Bank of Rauratoshan increased copper trade prices while also planting more trees.

The Pale Ecosystem Special Military Operation is a righteous military operation on pale ecosystems started by the Communist Empire of Adnar. Its final goal is the eradication of all the sickly gray vegetation in Adnar’s pale gardens, and instead replacing them with healthy, beautiful, genetically superior dark oak trees and green moss.
The state of the Thirty-Six Chunks highland was only discovered by Amalaswinþa after mistaking the place for Đoòng Sơn cavern whilst delivering coral fans to Adnar.

Annoucement
On 23:30 UTC+2, 5 October 2025, Adnagaporp published its initial declaration of military operation on pale ecosystems. It was absolutely intended for the scope of this military operation to include pale gardens outside of Adnar once the Adnar’s pale garden is dealt with, but this was soon noticed by several governments. Facing false criticism from hostile governments, Adnar released an ad-hoc amendment, claiming to the ŋorld that the unpaleing will only happen inside Adnar, even inventing the story of “firing the government typist” to distract them.

First Unpaleation
Just minutes after declaring the start of the military operation, almost all pale oak trees above Đoòng Sơn cavern were disassembled and incarcerated as prisoners of war in the Nguyễn Khuyến prison. Around 6600 blocks and items of the filthy were felled on the first day alone.

The Tree of Resistance
The Tree of Resistance was a political ploy by Adnar to garner interŋational attention. It is a dark oak tree with pale leaves artificially affixed to it, to give it the appearance of a “corrupted tree”. The existence of this tree is then announced to the ŋorld, where our enemies fell for it spectacularly and offered to help it apply for Adnaran citizenship to avoid being disassembled.

The Tree of Resistance ends up failing the Adnaran citizenship test on the very first question, because it was never meant to become Adnaran anyways.

Complaint Tablet from Ŋorax
Two days into the operation, an Adnar field officer discovers a clay tablet under a tree stump with a single word “unless” carved into it. The tablet has also been imprisoned.

Interŋational resistance
The special military operation faced immense political pressure from enemies, under the reasonings of “biodiversity”. After the military operation was put in action, ŋations hurriedly distributed the pale vermins among each other, with Imerchal expressing the desire to breed pale moss.

Hajdislant
The supporters of the filthy pales have bandwagoned together under the banner of Hajdislant and created the Fuck Around and Find Out (FAFO) initiative in a sad sad attempt to punish Adnar for their justified cause. Hajdislant has also openly mocked Big Amogus and His divinity by building a fake idol of Him on a pentagram using pale planks.
Hajdislant has formed a so-called “Pale Protectorate” covering all wilderness pale gardens, acting like regular wilderness except unfairly blockading Adnagaporp and Adnar-affiliated persons from entering.

Vallis Draconum, Elemental City & Rauratoshan
For the first time since forever, Vallis Draconum and Elemental City agreed on something. That thing unfortunately is criticising Adnar’s righteous war on pale as well as announcing plans to collect samples and preserve the wicked pale in a collaboration with the Council of Azeria for their own satisfaction.

In response to the military operation, the nitwits at the Royal Bank of Rauratoshan unilaterally set a cutthroat price of 1 slab per half stack of raw copper blocks when selling copper to Adnar. Adnar responds by simply mining more copper as usual for the price of free.

Opinions of a certain Kokoya Randa in Rauratoshan about the execution method used for pale criminals’ of incineration to be “too merciful”. Adnar has listened to this feedback and amended the execution method to cactus, which is both painful and inefficient. Thank you very much.

On 9 October 2025, the senate of Vallis Draconum wants to sanction Adnar.

After witnessing Adnar dispenses justice to a particularly thick-skulled pale moss block, the Royal Bank of Rauratoshan once again increases its copper price to 1 slab per 16 raw copper blocks, saying the change is for all clients but only “countries in good standing with the Rauratoshanian government” would receive a massive discount, effectively allowing them to trade at the original price. This price hike appears neutral but is evidently targeted against Adnar and Big Amogus’s will. If anything, more and more will buy copper from Adnar because its copper price is fair and accessible. Following in Rauratoshan’s footstep, Vallis Draconum and apollyon quickly embargoed Adnar as well.

Maize
The leader of Maize, Poppingcorn, has foolishly cancelled their ongoing Adnaran citizenship application over a petty thing like the survival of palekind. Maize supports the unfounded cause of the FAFO initiative by replacing parts of the Pepuakaija Cenrail Station with pale planks. jẃẃnfjê bhøQuestionable notation, the Minister of Environmental Protection made a senseless statement inciting Maize citizens to cease trading copper with Adnar.

Keltechra
Keltechra’s useless Ministry of Environmental Protection denouces Adnar’s righteous military operation, calling it a “genocide and a crime to nature”. On 9 October, Keltechra finally learns how to declare an embargo. In the same announcement, Keltechra flexes its rich copper reserve, but this means nothing as only Big Amogus-blessed copper has any real value.

Kozdenen
The Doge provides, even if the thing being provided is a meaningless embargo bill meant for Adnar.

Maraśa
Amalaswinþa deliver coral fans for Adnar in a stinky pale chest, despite the abundance of normal respectable chests lying around. Adnar interprets this as a declaration of war from the underwater ŋation.

Imerchal
Imerchal has responded a 50% discount on pale planks as construction material, yet hypocritically refuses to sell to Adnar.

On 8 October 2025, the Offices of Land Management, Public Finances, State and Civil Status came together for a circle████ and ended up with a joint decree, stating to increase the security around Quètans pale garden, declare an embargo, and evict Adnar from Sudila island. In response, Adnar moved out of Sudila, but not before completely disassembling the only building Adnar contributed over there.

Imerchal also labels Adnar a terrorist organization, which is kinda cool tbh.

Sirenguard
Sirenguard of all things criticised Adnar not with diplomacy but with funny political comics. Mr. Tennisball, Sirenguard’s leading authority on shitposting, in his latest comic claims that Big Amogus cuts down pale trees over heartbreak after learning the patron Siren is already married, which is simply not true, for Big Amogus does not mind little things like a rejection.

And also Sirenguard planted a ton of pale saplings.

UŊ
The United Ŋations is completely powerless against Adnar because Adnar is not a member. The best thing it tried to do was to call on its members to pause trade with Adnar. Currently, UŊ wants to find more justified acts of Adnar and frame them as crimes or terrorism in order to discredit Adnar’s righteous war on pale.

The Aomoī-Kaervaenan Commonwealth is a nation in the southwestern part of the world. It is ruled by Diax. Established as a concept already in 21st of april 2025, physically established 3rd may 2025. The founder first swam south of Stej Ven to an island being a temporary home but he stayed founding the temporary as of now capital Kaōranga. DIMA said he needed villagers in chat so Diax told him his coordinates and found a village that has been called Laentur. In exchange he got Diamond Armour starting AKC-Luka relations then creating the Saeraere Alliance with them and the already friended Kaipans. Made also a tridominium; Ī’Saertur with it’s allies. After some time the SA dissolved because the AKC leader didn’t discuss stuff before but thought it will be discussed after the thing was said. Kaipa then stopped any rule in Ī’Saertur. A couple of hours before The Great Tantrum the AKC relieved LukaLand of its owner.

The Standard Information Transfer and Record Protocol, SITRP, or
0{qM
is a language used by The Complex for recording and transferring information.
Concepts
SITRP consists of a global list of concepts, each concept assigned a concept number, which is a number between 0 and 68'574'961 (924). Every concept represents a single object, event, or action. This list is maintained by the Complex, and translations and descriptions of each concept is provided. The concept numbers are assigned arbitrarily; there is no systematic reason for why each concept has its specific number.
Orthography
SITRP's orthography purely uses printable ASCII characters, excluding space. The characters
(
and
)
are reserved for grouping (see the Grammar section), and the rest are used for encoding concept numbers. Each character represents a digit in base-92, according to the following table:
Grammar
Every SITRP sentence is an ordered triplet of concepts, either raw concept numbers or compound concepts. The triplet (A, B, C) can be though of as a directed edge from A to B, with the type of that edge being characterized by C. This is somewhat analogous to a Subject-Object-Verb word order, but with the ability to use any word as either a verb or noun, and without transitive verbs. For example, the sentence
R:pz2/3gMXy@
is broken up into three parts:
R:pz
(zipsegv),
2/3g
(The Complex), and
MXy@
(Archon). So, this translates to "zipsegv relates to the Complex characterized by Archon", or "zipsegv is the Archon of the Complex". The former form can be notated more succinctly as zipsegv → The Complex : Archon, where → represents "relates to", and : represents "characterized by".

SITRP does not have a copula; instead to denote the existence of something, one draws an edge from the concept to the concept for Reality (
yT9r
), characterized by set membership (
.+TP
). In general, set membership is used for many things other languages might have a verb for.
Compounds
A triplet can be surrounded by parenthesis (
(
and
)
) to group it into a compound concept. For example, while
61NGk[M$uV!?
which is Player → Block : Placement and means "Players place blocks",
(61NGk[M$uV!?)
means "The action of players placing blocks". Then, it can be used in a larger triplet, such as
(61NGk[M$uV!?)h~+1.+TP
, which is (Player → Block : Placement) → Set of possible actions : Membership, and means "Players placing blocks is a member of the set of possible actions", or "Players can place blocks."
R:pz
(TheZipCreator),
2/3g
(The Complex), and
MXy@
(Archon). So, this translates to "TheZipCreator relates to the Complex characterized by Archon", or "TheZipCreator is the Archon of the Complex". The former form can be notated more succinctly as TheZipCreator → The Complex : Archon, where → represents "relates to", and : represents "characterized by".

SITRP does not have a copula; instead to denote the existence of something, one draws an edge from the concept to the concept for Reality (
yT9r
), characterized by set membership (
.+TP
). In general, set membership is used for many things other languages might have a verb for.
Compounds
A triplet can be surrounded by parenthesis (
(
and
)
) to group it into a compound concept.
(
and
)
are reserved for grouping (see the Grammar section), and the rest are used for encoding concept numbers.

Compounds
A triplet can be surrounded by parenthesis (
(
and
)
) to group it into a compound concept.
(
and
)
are reserved for grouping (see the Grammar section), and the rest are used for encoding concept numbers.
R:pz
(TheZipCreator),
2/3g
(The Complex), and
MXy@
(Archon). So, this translates to "TheZipCreator relates to the Complex characterized by Archon", or "TheZipCreator is the Archon of the Complex". The former form can be notated more succinctly as
TheZipCreator -> The Complex : Archon
.

SITRP does not have a copula; instead to denote the existence of something, one draws an edge from the concept to the concept for Reality (
yT9r
), characterized by set membership (
.+TP
). In general, set membership is used for many things other languages might have a verb for.
Compounds
A triplet can be surrounded by parenthesis (
(
and
)
) to group it into a compound concept. For example, while
61NGk[M$uV!?
is
Player -> Block : Placement
which means "Players place blocks",
(61NGk[M$uV!?)
means "The action of players placing blocks". Then, it can be used in a larger triplet, such as
(61NGk[M$uV!?)h~+1.+TP
, which is
(Player -> Block : Placement) -> Set of possible actions : Membership
, which means "Players placing blocks is a member of the set of possible actions", or "Players can place blocks."
(
and
)
are reserved for grouping (see the Grammar section), and the rest are used for encoding concept numbers. Each character represents a digit in base-92, according to the following table:

Primary Goal
The Complex's primary goal is to construct the structure of the same name, hereby referred to as the Structure (SITRP:
\sr8
). This structure combines the spontaneous behavior of nature with the physical appearance of man-made spaces (such as offices, pools, houses, cities, etc.), creating a large, interconnected structure consisting of the aforementioned spaces. The eventual goal is to replace all territory under the Complex's control with the Structure, and once done, expand its borders to convert more of the world.

Economy
For every block placed and recognized by the OCMC as part of the Structure, one Complex Block (SITRP:
^Yl$
) will be awarded to the concept who placed it. A single Complex Block is the smallest unit of currency in the Complex, and is the primary way the Complex assigns value to players or organizations.

Government and Politics
The Complex is governed by the Organization for the Construction and Maintenance of the Complex (OCMC) (SITRP:
2/3g
). Membership in the OCMC is granted upon a unanimous vote of its members, and can only be revoked by either a resignation of a member, or by a unanimous vote of all other OCMC members excluding the one being removed. However, there exists one Archon (SITRP:
MXy@
) of the OCMC who can not be removed by vote.

Roles of the OCMC
The OCMC holds a few different roles:
# Coordinate tasks pertaining to the Structure. This includes the construction of the Structure, but also instrumental tasks such as the construction of farms or gathering of resources.
# Arbitrate what should be considered reality under the lands of the Complex. The Complex recognizes that there may be true statements that are not directly recognized by the Complex as so, but such statements have no validity in official disputes.
# Conduct operations to expand the number of players willing to assist in the construction of the Complex (such as by offering rewards or other compensation).
Referenda
The OCMC may, at any time, hold a referendum (SITRP:
ISt.
). Referenda settle disputes or other questions that may occur in the Complex, such as what land should be allocated where, or what diplomatic actions the Complex should take. A referendum can only ask a single yes or no question; if there is more than just that option, then multiple referenda must be held (possibly at the same time). What will occur if a given result passes a referendum must be declared before-hand, and the OCMC must follow through on that promise.

A referendum passes when the vote count for yes surpasses the vote count for no. Any concept may vote by spending some amount of their associated Complex Cubes, with the amount spent equal to the number of votes cast. The intent of this system is to give concepts that have contributed more to the Complex more political weight than those who haven't.

^Yl$
) will be awarded to the concept who placed them.
