ǀNṵ́e ǂKx'ûm has been known by other names in the past, such as ɢquhũɴǃqʼħə́χ, Gohonqakh, Cohoncac, and Šą'êsiþko. The former 3 were from an abandoned conlang of Suwi's, and the latter is in [[Iskel]]. However, these names were given up in favor of ǀNṵ́e ǂKx'ûm, translating to "Night Earth" in [[w:Taa_language|!Xóõ]], or "Nightground" as Suwi intended it to translate as.<br />
