A general election was held on 15 October 2025 in [[Jotlond]], to elect the members of the [[1st Jootske Ríksdag]]. All 15 seats in the parliament were up for election.

Following the signing of the [[Dornwík Accords]], Jotlond transitioned into a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitutional%20monarchy parliamentary monarchy]. The previous government was dismissed by queen [[SeoReadeHenn|Seo]] and elections were called.

The previous Jutish government did not have any existing party affiliations, as it was meant to be a temporary assembly. After the dissolution of this first government 3 parties were formed: the [[Socialdemokratiske Partí]] (English: Social Democratic Party); the [[Republican Party (Jotlond)|Republikaniske Partí]] (English: Republican Party); the [[Traditjon-end-Demokratie Partí]] (English: Tradition and Democracy Party).

No party achieved a complete majority, and after a few days of coalition talks the SDP and RP entered into a coalition ensuring the formation of a government.
