Territory Minister Avery Chekinv strongly objected this change, as Hanaz Island had been functioning fine without Kiiamic oversight and was on its way to become an independent country, but it had just been made the center of Paz Kiiam. Chekinv requested to discuss Hanazian independence with the Interim Presidium.
