			===Establishment of a Courtroom===
			The Court of Eras is defined to be located in the ''"Guilty As Sin?" Courtroom'' in the [[Port of Eras#TTPD Era\|TTPD Era]]. This is the only valid place where legal proceedings in the Port of Eras may be held. Any legal proceedings held at any other location are null and void.

			The ''"Guilty As Sin?" Courtroom'' is to function as a court for criminal and civil cases, hearings, and any other forms of legal proceedings.

			===On the Proper Judicial Official===
			All legal proceedings in the Port of Eras will be carried out by one judge.

			===Establishment of Judiciary Officials===
			A judge must be appointed by the Chairman. The Chairman may appoint himself. An appointee must be a citizen of the Port of Eras.

			A judge has full authority over their courtroom and the verdict.

			===On Proper Conduct===
			No parties may cross the barricade in the courtroom without permission. Witnesses must wait in the chambers adjoining the witness stands, and must stay there until dismissed. The gallery must stay behind the stained glass, unless otherwise asked.

			===Validity of Evidence===
			Evidence is defined to be any item, image, link, or similar that visually shows firsthand proof of a claim. Altered screenshots are not permitted.

			All parties must consent to the submission of messages or images reasonably assumed to be private. All evidence must be obtained without violating server laws or other laws of the Port of Eras or any other applicable nations.

			Any evidence found to have been procured illegally will be null and void on the principle of fruit of the poisoned tree.

			Any altered or fabricated evidence will be dismissed. The party responsible for presenting altered or fabricated evidence will be charged with forgery of evidence.

			===Processes of Testimony===
			Testimony may be given by any parties present at the time the incident or dispute happened. They must present only what they experienced.

			Hearsay is not valid testimony, and will be stricken from the record.

			Witnesses will testify via the Minecraft chat or by typing in the corresponding Discord channel. Any attempt to testify by another method will not be considered.

			Witnesses will only testify when asked to do so by the judge. All witnesses will be given the opportunity to testify.

			===Subpoena Procedures===
			A judge may issue a subpoena via a formally written & sealed book and quill sent to the party receiving the subpoena, as well as a ping on Discord.

			The party has up until the scheduled court date to procure or declare the lack of possession of the desired evidence or testimony.

			All subpoena'd evidence will be returned to the original holder.

Structures may be altered by [[Fin|the Chairman]] at any time, for any reason, without notice of any type or at any time. These changes apply to Structures constructed by other players. Players building Structures willingly waive their right to dispute changes made to their Structures. The Chairman is not required to return materials to the original builder of a Structure at any time, but may not poach valuables unnecessarily.
