			The island is dominated by Kuvilayu Ridge, an eroded mountain that forms the highest natural part of Rauratoshan. Kuvilayu Ridge, like [[Rafi Island]]'s Astona Hill and [[Island of :hotspot:\|Island of]] {{hotspot}}, is thought to have been formed by an ancient geological hotspot deep under the surface that is no longer active. Underneath Kuvilayu Ridge is a lush cave, which is presumed to have moved into the volcanic chambers after the hotspot moved southeast.
