	The word "kosht" comes directly from the Ukrainian word "кошти" (koshty, "money").		The word "kosht" comes directly from the Ukrainian word "кошти" (koshty, "money"). The word "pivkosht" comes directly from Ukrainian "півкошт" (literally half-kosht), and the word "shah" comes from the Ukrainian word "шаг", a predecessor to the modern Ukrainian kopiyka (subdivision of the hryvnia) and proposed successor, however this change has not been implemented yet.
