			==Election==
			Elections are performed in two rounds: the primary round, which selects challengers, and the general round, which selects between the victors of the first round and the incumbents.

			The two incumbents who have been in power the longest must run for re-election, with ties broken by approval rating in the last election they participated in. If an incumbent resigns, their seat ''as well as'' the top two incumbents are up for election. If three or more such events happen in the same district, then the entire district is up for re-election.

			Both rounds are mechanically identical, with voters selecting their top three candidates. A first-choice is worth 4 points, a second-choice is worth 2 points, and a third-choice is worth 1 point.

			In Merikrita, primary elections are performed in each district. These rank all the candidates. Generally, all candidates which receive 25% or more of the vote are considered winners of the primary. That being said, the primary election is guaranteed to advance at least as many challengers as seats up for re-election in that district.

			On 14 Rikulrita (February 2), the two incumbents and the winning challengers from the primary run in the general election. The top two receive the seats up for election.

			Deaths or forcible removals from office that occur before 4 Merikrita require special elections, which happen 4 weeks after the removal. Special elections do not have two rounds, but they are mechanically identical to a general election round, where voters from the dead or removed MP's district choose their top three candidates, points are counted, and the top candidate takes their place.
