			As New Years Day, 2026 approached, preparations began in the houses of government for the official incorporation of two new counties carved out of the Tunnan Military District - [[Cochise County]] and [[Mohave County]], along with the reapportionment of the seats of the Xarslasja Legislature. Not much word had come from the Bezuv through much of December, partially due to a time anomaly that somehow caused reality to shift nearly a week into the future instantaneously. Even after this, no news came from the Copper Palace despite the important upcoming incorporation. On December 27th, a member of the [[Pima County Filibuster]] returned to her home to gather resources for the budding village of [[Tunnan]]. Upon arriving in [[Arcosanti]], there was nobody there. Every villager in Arcosanti had died and despawned. After word got out, reporters flooded the entrance of the Copper Palace to see the Bezuv, but he refused to answer the door, only shouting “I’m fine!” from the high tower of the palace. Rumors began to spread that the Bezuv had caught whatever disease killed the population of Arcosanti.
