Tunnan Military District

The Tunnan Military District (Arodjun: Akkusja Tunnanbwa) is the provisional government of the new territories of Xarslasja annexed from the anarchic zones of the former Þunan Qumreá, beginning on October 24th, 2025. It was made official by the Xarslasja Legislature on October 29th during the Reintegration Sessions while the body could not agree on the issues of representation.
Nevertheless, the creation of this District brought an end to the Þunan Qumreá Warlords Period and the Xarslasja Terrestrial Army began constructing forts and infrastructure to keep order in the newly annexed lands.
Multiple unauthorized groups of Xarslasjans gathered into "filibusters" based around their counties of origin. Their stated goals were often to bring "civilian order" to the chaotic wilderness in preparation for the creation of official counties in the region. However, it quickly became apparent that rural counties were trying to influence the future voting habits of these future counties by putting massive resources into expanding the populations there. As Xarslasja is a Bezuvate, run by a Bezuv who is the only figure with legal authority to initiate construction projects, many saw this Filibuster movement to be distasteful, criminal, or even sinful.
During the Census Rush
The town of Ashton was greatly expanded by the Xarslasja Terrestrial Army and multiple teams of "filibusters" from various counties in Xarslasja. Much of the construction in Ashton was completed by the Gila County Filibuster in November 2025.
A new town, Tunnan, was created west of Ashton, by the Pima County Filibuster. It is mostly an agricultural village.
Another new town, Show Low, was built into the hillside of the south shore of Rankadmair by the Yavapai County Filibuster. This marked the first Xarslasjan settlement built in the area slated to become a part of Cochise County come January 2026.
