The Peasants' Republic of Oberia does not recognize the right to form political parties. Instead, this role is occupied by what the Revolutionary Government calls political bureaux (Occitan: burèus politics).
Though most political bureaux adhere to the Ideals of the Revolution, which are the core principles of the Peasants' Republic, a few marginal movements try to uphold other ideas in the House of the People.
All political bureaux regardless of their stance on the Ideals of the Revolution must also abide by the constitution and, depending on local laws, communal and regional legislation as well.
Legal frame
Political bureaux are self-regulated political units registered by the Commissariat of Citizenship and Democratic Life.
Due to the ban on political parties, political bureaux are not allowed to use the term "party" in their names.
There is no formal application system for a political bureau, it is purely declarative and dependent on the acceptance of the autonomous authorities of the political bureaux of new members. In the House of the People, they are used to identify a deputy's political affiliations.
