Hycenon /'haɪ.sɪˌnɒn/ (Hycenian: Ѥɑjeceиωи /'χa.jə.səˌnɒn/) is a bąlo in S'eliẃluv, Sofao Tâsi. It is situated on the western coast of the Gulf of Kozdenen, at the southernmost point of the country. It forms a part of the S'eliẃluv Metropolis along with Vu uħKupa, Uuši Jovensuu, and Porrötavets, and the city itself extends south across the river into Monke Island.

The Gulf Road G9 passes through Hycenon, and Hycenon railway station is the terminus for both the Sajl Sow line and the Eastern Gulf Line.

History

Hycenon was founded by Pepter on the 22nd November 2025. The first building was Hycenon Manor, the original site of the railway station. More residential buildings appeared on and around the esplanade, known as Kozdenen Esplanade, and Hycenon Gardens was constructed behind the manor shortly after. Originally, Hycenon was only served by an unnamed local line that ran across S'eliẃluv, which was later extended to Sajl Sow (becoming part of the eponymous line), but later the tunnels of the dilapidated Monke Island Metro were repurposed to extend the Eastern Gulf Line from the former western terminus, Pòrt d’Avets.

S'eliẃluv Hall, a large governmental building, was then constructed on top of the hill that overlooks the town, and Hycenon Gardens became home to a growing population of pandas, rechristening it as Panda Park. An incident was purported to have occurred at the park involving the selective breeding of the panda population followed by up to ten cullings, however this has been vehemently denied. The esplanade would then be extended towards Vu uħKupa, where a library and a teahouse were constructed.

In response to the political crisis engulfing Monke Island's potential annexation by Kozdenen, Pepter expressed interest in expanding Hycenon south across the river into Monke Island, where Awdereh is situated. Pending the approval, the Statue of Zhgjacya was constructed to represent a sense of "unity" across the river's banks. Following the expansion approval, the original train station at Hycenon Manor was dismantled, and the railways leading to it were rerouted to meet at a brand new terminus on the south side of the river, and a tavern was constructed next to it.

On the 6th December 2025, the Fun Box Penitentiary was constructed underneath Hycenon.
