Shelf named herself after the shelf, which is is a raised flat, horizontal or sloping plane used for items that are displayed or stored in a home, business, store, or elsewhere.
Rainworld comes from the hit video game "Rainworld".
Thursday comes from the English word for the fourth day of the week, which is twice as much into the week as Rivulé's middle name. It probably is not the day when she was born.
