Adnaran (<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">tiếŋ Áđ-na</span>) is the ŋational language of the Communist Empire of Adnar. It is the same as regular Vietnamese, except for these changes. For a refresher of regular Vietnamese, check out this video.

Vietnamese++ (<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">Việt Cộŋ Cộŋ</span>) is the ŋational language of the Communist Empire of Adnar. It is the same as regular Vietnamese, except for these changes. For a refresher of regular Vietnamese, check out this video.

For sake of compatibility, some text in Adnar has not been translated to Vietnamese++ yet, instead using regular Vietnamese. Notify Supreme Leader Adnagaporp about these texts so he can update them at once.

Numbers
Cardinal numbers
* 1-digit numbers are self-explanatory.
* 2-digits numbers, from 10 to 19 → “mười [10<sup>0</sup> place digit]”.
** [100 place digit] = 0 → leave blank.
** [100 place digit] = 5 → read as “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr"><u>l</u>ăm</span>”.
* 2-digits numbers, from 20 to 99 → “[10<sup>1</sup> place digit] mươi [10<sup>0</sup> place digit]”.
** [100 place digit] = 0 → leave blank. Optionally, you may replace “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">mươi</span>” with “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">chục</span>” here.
** [100 place digit] = 1 → read as “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">m<u>ố</u>t</span>”.
** [100 place digit] = 5 → read as “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr"><u>l</u>ăm</span>”.
* 3-digits numbers → “[10<sup>2</sup> place digit] chăm [10<sup>1</sup> and 10<sup>0</sup> as 2-digits number]”.
** [101 place digit] = 0 → add “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">lẽ</span>” between [102 place digit] and [100 place digit].
* 4-digits numbers → “[10<sup>3</sup> place digit] ŋàŋ [10<sup>2</sup>, 10<sup>1</sup> and 10<sup>0</sup> as 3-digits number]”.
** No 102 place → read 102 place as “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">khôŋ chăm</span>” instead of leaving blank.
** All places from 101 to 102 are 0 → add “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">lẽ</span>” between [103 place digit] and [100 place digit].
* 7-digits numbers → “[10<sup>6</sup> place digit] chiệu [10<sup>5</sup>, 10<sup>4</sup> and 10<sup>3</sup> as 3-digits number] ŋàŋ [10<sup>2</sup>, 10<sup>1</sup> and 10<sup>0</sup> as 3-digits number]”.
** All places from 101 to 105 are 0 → add “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">lẽ</span>” between [106 place digit] and [100 place digit].

* 2025 → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">hai ngàn khôŋ chăm hai mươi lăm</span>”.
* 150002501 → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">một chăm năm mươi chiệu hai ŋàŋ năm chăm lẽ một</span>”.

Decimal numbers
In writing, the decimal separator is a comma, not a dot, and the reading for the decimal separator is “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">fẫy</span>”. Decimal numbers are read as “[cardinal number reading of integer portion] fẩy [digit-by-digit / cardinal number reading of decimal portion]”. If the decimal portion is exactly .5, its reading can be replaced by “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">rưỡi</span>”.

If a counter word was used, it goes after the decimal number, or it can replace “fẫy”, sandwiched between the integer and decimal portions.

Examples:

* 3,14 → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">ba fẫy mười bốn</span>” or “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">ba fẫy một bốn</span>”.
* € 20,25 → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">hai mươi fẫy hai mươi lăm ơ</span>” or “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">hai mươi fẫy hai năm ơ</span>” or “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">hai mươi ơ hai năm</span>”.<br>(“<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">Ơ</span>” is shortened form of the euro currency “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">ơ-rô</span>”.)
* 1,05 → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">một fẫy không năm</span>”
* 0,142857 → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">khôŋ fẩy một bốn hai tám năm bãy</span>”.<br>(Only crazy people reads the decimal portion as a cardinal number.)
* 1,5 points → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">một fẫy năm điễm</span>” or “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">một điễm năm</span>” or “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">một điễm <u>rưỡi</u></span>”.<br>(“<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">Điễm</span>” is “points”.)

Fractions and Percentages
Fractions are read as “[numerator] fầŋ [denominator]”.

Percentages are read as usual, the % symbol is read “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">fầŋ chăm</span>” and ‰ is read “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">fầŋ ŋàŋ</span>”.

Some fractions and percentages have special readings:

* ½ → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">một nữa</span>” / “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">fâŋ nữa</span>”
* ¼ → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">một fầŋ tư</span>”
* 50% increase (1,5×) → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">gấp rưỡi</span>”
* 100% increase (2,0×) → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">gấp đôi</span>”
* 300% increase (4,0×) → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">gấp tư</span>”

Ordinal numbers
Prefix “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">hạŋ</span>” or “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">thứ</span>” (rank counter) before the ordinal number. There exists only three exceptions to the readings of ordinal numbers. All other ordinals are read as like cardinal numbers.

* 1<sup>st</sup> → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">(hạŋ) ñất</span>”
* 2<sup>nd</sup> → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">(hạŋ) ñì</span>”
* 4<sup>th</sup> → “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">(hạŋ) tư</span>”

Negative numbers
Just prefix “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">âm</span>” or “<span lang="vi" dir="ltr">trừ</span>” before the rest of the number.
