An indigenous nation is an area of land in the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen held and governed by a federally recognized native Shingtsunni tribal nation, whose government is autonomous and sovereign. There are currently seven indigenous nations in the Republic of Shingtsun, the biggest of which is Ilankom Nation.

Indigenous nations have been created by the Shingtsunni government on 12 June 2025 due to them seeking friendlier relations with the natives. are in charge of holidays, taxation, finances, land management, language policy, cultural institutions and minor crimes.
