Government of Xarslasja

Xarslasja is a Bezuvate, a military-civil union run by Bezuv Agma Schwa, the Lord Terraformer of the Desert (Bezuv Xarslasjabwa, lit. "Ruler of Balance of the Desert Region"). Each populated center in Xarslasja is protected by a series of Iron Golems and led by Unubuv (lit. "city rulers, mayors"). The Bezuvate is geographically divided into 12 divisions, those being eleven counties (feunawa) and one district (K'ix), that being the joint condominium of Ŋibraltar with The Kingdom of Kyaw Cen.

Civil Infrastructure

The Bezuv, as Lord Terraformer, has unilateral authority to plan and implement construction projects throughout Xarslasja. There is no particular government subsidiary dedicated to construction because of this. The Greenification and Operation: Mingling are examples of construction initiatives led and managed directly by the Bezuv. The Bezuv also manages all projects related to transit, including roads, bridges, CenRail lines and stations within the nation's borders (except for Ngibraltar Station), the Core Xarslasja Line System, and the Nogales-Arcosanti Line.

Banking

The national vault of Xarslasja is managed by the Bezuv, and the Exchange Rate Commission is tasked with preventing inflation and handling transactions at the Great Desert Bank.

Trade

Naval trade and transit is under the jurisdiction of the Xarslasja Port Authority. The Port Authority owns and operates buildings on islands around Xarslasja to prevent piracy, ensure items are successfully brought from one location to another, and to provide military defense to areas exposed to open waters. The Port Authority is a federal entity, but it operates as if it is a semi-private company.

Military and Policing

Plans are underway to create an official military for Xarslasja since the events of the war in Pua and the Scramble for Murbetia. For now, Iron Golems maintain the peace in populated areas throughout the nation, keeping monsters from harming villagers and players alike.

Macro-Regions

Xarslasja can be split into three unofficial macro-regions.

Core Xarslasja is the highly populated central region of the nation, encompassing the original territory of the nation before its admission to the United Ngations. This area roughly corresponds to Yuma County.

Oceanic Xarslasja encompasses the regions of Xarslasja that border the Agmatic Ocean, including the many islands in Xarslasjan territory as far as Far Harbor.

BoPuwa Xarslasja (BoPuwa being Arodjun for "above Pua" or "after Pua") comprises the remaining territories, those being the lands bordering the Djobom Sea and the Salt and Verde Rivers.

Counties

Xarslasja is administratively divided into eleven counties (feunawa) and one district (K'ix). Each county has a town or city as its county seat (excluding those that do not yet have towns). The capitol building of the County Seat is also the de jure capitol building of the county. Every county has its own leader who is subservient to the Bezuv in title. The powers that be in each county appoint or elect representatives to the Xarslasja Legislative Authority, which creates or deletes laws and attempts to put checks on the power of the Bezuv. Each county has a set number of representatives depending on the population of the County. Yuma County has 4 representatives, Coconino County and Santa Cruz County have two, and every other county has one (as of August 2024).
