The Treaty of Yija is a treaty that was signed on 3 March 2025 between Lux Moniridia, who had just returned to Nguhcraft at the time, and Quing Marcy I of the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen. It was signed in the Shingtsunni city of Yija, from which the treaty gets its name.
Context
On 3 March 2025 at 3:29 PM CEST, around an hour and a half before the Treaty of Yija was signed, Quing Marcy had gotten plans to make Lux (then known as Iris) the governor of an at-the-time potential Kyawcenni Territory of Monke Island[1], following Lux' plans to settle there. After this, the two of them agreed on the contents of the Treaty of Yija, which was then signed at 4:53 PM CEST[2].

In order for Monke Island to be incorporated into the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen as the Territory of Monke Island, it has to fulfill the following requirements:
- The Territory of Monke Island is an Organized[3] Territory of the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen.
- The Territory of Monke Island may become an Unorganized Territory with the approval of its governor and the Quing of Kyaw Cen[4].
- The Territory of Monke Island may not change its borders, name, banner or official languages without the royal approval of the Quing of Kyaw Cen.
- The Territory of Monke Island may not have more than three official languages[5].
- The Territory of Monke Island needs to have a capital city with at least one building[6].
