Madokaism (Catalan: Madocaísme /məðuka'izmə/) is the state religion of Adaria. The religion states that Madoka Kaname, also known as Madokami, is the creator of the universe, and that She oversees the world and protects it from falling into eternal despair by taking desperate souls out of the plain of existance through a process called the Law of Cycles.

Currently, the religion is only observed in Adaria, and sanctioned by Martinawa, the Supreme Leader of the ngation. There is a temple for its practice in the country, atop of the cliffs of Reconfiguration, next to the Adaria Central station.

Prayers

The main prayer in Madokaism says as follows:

"Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember Her, you are not alone."

This prayer reinforces the principle that She is overseeing the world and protecting humanity from despair.

Reinforcing events

The sudden end of World War 2, in which the opposing party members to Adaria vanished inadvertently, has been interpreted as an application of the Law of Cycles to the mandatories of Lavvakcesaa, especially to Saquuaca Vilderu. Controversially, this has also been observed to make some theologians in Adaria consider the possibility that Ætérnal might be a figure related to Madokaism and an envoyee from Madokami to apply the Law of Cycles, despite no evidence of men ever being directly involved with Madokami's mission. Later into investigations, it was concluded that he was actually an Incubator, making him an antagonistic figure in official Madokaism in Adaria.
