| Legwa Rina politically derives a lot of inspiration from the [[w:Skeksis|Skeksis]] from the 1982 film [[w:The_Dark_Crystal|The Dark Crystal]]. Thematically, Legwa Rina is the opposite of [[Juya Gwaña]]. Juya Gwaña represents beauty, peace, and openness, while Legwa Rina represents destruction, grief, and entrapment.

| The government, like that of the Skeksis, is led by a council of ten. Here, they are known as the Shadows or ''Tąmṣąăn'' [tɐ́ɱʃɐa̯n]. The Shadows rule over a land full of history, but with no populace. Their power within their ŋation only exists amongst themselves. Over time, their roles began to warp into something less suited to run a government, and more suited to control other Shadows. They never outright abuse their power for fear of retaliation from other Shadows, but their powers no longer resemble those of a coherent government.
