Evil Chile, /ˈiːvɪl ˈt͡ʃiːleɪ/ or /ˈiːvɪl ˈt͡ʃile/, is a territory of the Evil Scamming Country in the Land of Chaos. It is a part of the Realm of Madness' former district the Wacky West. It only comprises the one block-thick border of the Wacky West and its islands, but nothing inside of it or them. The Evil Scamming Country purchased it as part of the BIG SHOT MINECRAP SALE!!! the Realm of Madness hosted to sell its former Wacky West territory.

Etymology

The name Evil Chile was coined by sq upon their reaction to seeing its borders. It references the shape of the real-world nation Chile whose elongated, coastal geography is often exaggerated humorously in ways reminiscent of the shape of Evil Chile. Chronos liked the name and decided to use it for the territory.

Logistics

The claim extends fully in the Y and -Y directions, so any structures or tunnels crossing from one side of the former Wacky West to the other must receive permission from the Evil Scamming Country or they may be considered griefing. Likewise, any animals existing on the Evil Chile border may not be killed by outsiders since they are on foreign land.

Evil Chile is too thin to be visible on any official map, but it is intended to be clearly marked with blocks in order to protect its sovereignty. As of January 2025, however, this has not yet happened.

While the Evil Scamming Country itself is poorly recognized, the Realm of Madness, as an ally, is willing to defend its territory in the Land of Chaos.
