The Madlands, named after the badlands, is the name given to the general area of the former Realm of Madness which Suqi is creating builds in. While the Madlands have existed since the dissolution of the Realm of Madness on May 4th, 2025, the first constructive activity post-dissolution and naming of the location occured on August 31st, 2025.
The Madlands are neither a political entity nor base. They are merely a location of activity. Suqi plans to convert it all to sculk and build generally evil-looking builds, much like their plans with the Realm of Madness. However, with the Madlands, there is no stress regarding politics and statecraft from it not being a ŋation, and there is no stress regarding needing a home or keeping items far away from their other bases from it not being a base.
The Madlands have no set border. The area of activity is fluid and can change rapidly from the construction or destruction of builds, or the spreading of sculk.
A few allays can be seen flying around freely in the Madlands holding a significant and legendary item known as dirt. These allays are escapees from the silverfish farm. Suwi permits the breeding and capture of free allays by any player inside the Madlands.
Sculk Blooms
There are two sculk blooms at present, but more are planned to be created. One sculk bloom is upon the Mountain of Madness, hosting the Madlands monster farm high above. The other sculk bloom is where all the other current structures are located: the small plains biome between the swamp and mountains. Measures are being taken to prevent unwanted spread of sculk into the wilderness. The Cenrail station to the Madlands has been transformed into an island to prevent escape into the rest of Cenrail, and a river is planned when the sculk blooms reach far beyond any structures in the territory.
Structures
Access
There are two primary methods of traveling to the Madlands. First is its Cenrail connection, and second is via Leshrail Roof. However, it does not have a dedicated Leshrail station. Access by Leshrail is only possible if a lever between the Blighted Shrine and Capitol is turned off, which deactivates powered rails in front of the Madlands' nether portals.
Allay Breeder
The southernmost build is a small allay breeder covered by obsidian for ghast fireball protection. Allays from there are taken and used in silverfish farms. Allays from the breeder may not be taken by other players.
Bottomless Pit
The bottomless pit remains bottomless.
Ghast Spawner
The infamous ghast spawner of the Realm of Madness remains important in the Madlands. It is the easternmost structure and uses giant portals and platforms in the nether to transport magma cubes and ghasts into the overworld as soon as they spawn. The magma cubes spawned from it are intended to be an additional source of XP for the silverfish sculk catalyst by falling into a now-sculkified box where they are killed by sweet berry bushes. However, it currently is facing issues with it appearing to not function unless chunks on the overworld and nether are loaded.
Monster Farm

The westernmost and northernmost build is an automatic monster farm built high in the sky, which drops monsters onto a sculk catalyst on a mountain below. This fuels one of the two sculk blooms in the Madlands, and is less efficient.
Silverfish Farm

As of August 31st, 2025, there is only one silverfish farm, but more are planned to be constructed. The silverfish farm, like the monster farm, fuels a sculk bloom and is much more effiicient at it. The silverfish farm is attached to an alien-looking structure which at its center holds a room with the supplies necessary to create potions of infestation. The silverfish farm is built out of obsidian and crying obsidian to protect it from ghast fireballs. Due to the farm's primary composition of crying obsidian, purple particles drop from above it to produce an effect similar to purple rain between the bottomless pit and the ghast spawner.
Weird Building
Between the monster farm and other structures, there is a weird black and purple building that serves no purpose. It has 3 stories, the top having no roof, and the second having windows shaped like a heart, diamond, club, and spade.
