Ostmare is the name of the only stronghold in the Land of Chaos, and the territory around it. It was created by the Ostmare Treaty, where it became a five way condominium between Latium Regnātum, Vilantnen, Eistówú, CMCic Federation, and Realm of Madness. However, it is currently only three way after the last two have dissolved. Dróstsiśtsi and Otslahue have since joined the treaty agreement, making it again five way.
Geographically, the stronghold is in the deepslate layer, but the territory extends upwards indefinitely. It lies in a small ocean between Vilantnen and Otslahue.
Its name comes from the Viossa phrase "Ostmare" meaning "Eastern Sea", in relation to the sea's position from Vipolis.
