Etymology

Sashasasha Station has at least four distinct etymologies:

  • Firstly, the name Sasha.
  • Secondly, the fact that the English word "station" has both /s ʃ/ in it.
  • Thirdly, the fact that Rokadong has four distinct allophones for /s/ and two distinct allophones for /ʃ/, all of which are considered marginally phonemic in some or all dialects.
  • With the fact that the Rokadong word for "station" is  purako, the name is a reference to t+pazolite - TIER SSSS++++ BPM.
