Being a democratic ŋation, Krīpetēpla regularly holds elections for the citizens to vote for a new parliament and a new executive. Additionally, following the death or abdication of the monarch, royal elections are held to find a new one.

The Krīpetēplan constitution states that general elections must be held once every four months, except for snap elections.

Background

On 1 July 2025, the government of Krīpetēpla announced the first general elections to be held soon, and the following day the date was announced as 7 July. Due to these elections being held so soon after the constitution was approved, both houses of the parliament were elected using the federal electoral law.

The election was held using the score voting system, in which each voter had to assign a score 0-10 to each candidate.

Royal elections

2025 royal elections

Background

On 1 July 2025, king Sebroar announced he would abdicate to allow for a new king to be democratically elected, as he was put in place as a temporary head of State after the revolution. As such, royal elections were called for, to be held together with the general elections (later confirmed to be on 7 July). Despite not having the intention to candidate himself for the role, following pressures from various citizens and left-wing politicians on 2 July he announced his candidature.

The election was held using the score voting system, in which each voter had to assign a score 0-10 to each candidate.

Outcome
