Byukyi (Kyawcenni: /bjy.tɕi/) is an uninhabited village in Shingtsun, Kyaw Cen, south of Esasne.
On 6 June 2026, the construction of Yija International Airport was finished in the southwest of the municipality.
On 16 June, the municipality joined the unung.
Name
Byukyi is the Kyawcenni word for empty. The village was named that way because because it seemed like an uninhabited, empty village.
