Mount Svérigé or simply Svérigé [ˈsværiə] (Itulankom Svérigé [svəːri.ɣeː], lit. Great Queen; Kyawcenni: Taswo Svérigé/Swairige) is a mountain in Shingtsun, Kingdom of Kyaw Cen. It contains a large underground complex that used to function as the base of Xoran and administratively makes up its own Chirean municipality. With a total height of y=145, it is the highest peak in the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen.
It, along with Woclêw, is one of the few places in Kyaw Cen where languages predating the Kyawcenni settlement of Shingtsun still cling on.
History
The mountain was left more or less untouched by civilization until late July 2024, when Xoran dug into it to establish a starter base, not knowing that the land he was on was claimed as part of Kyaw Cen. Marcy I, upon seeing this, let Xoran remain settled in the area. The complex has been continuously expanded ever since.
Mount Svérigé Complex
The base differs from most other settlements on Nguhcord by virtue of being almost entirely underground, with the only things above the surface being the main entrance, the back entrance, and the iron farm, which is located on top of the mountain. Everything else, such as crop farms, animals, and item storage, is located inside the mountain itself.
The block palette consists mainly of stone bricks, deepslate, smooth stone, and oak and birch wood.
Environment
The base is connected to the C1 road that at present goes from Yija to the eastern Kyawcenni border. The settlement of Xêgwar is located only about 200 metres to the southwest of Mount Svérigé.
The mountain is surrounded by temperate forests to the west, a taiga to the east, and a birch forest to the south.
The eastern side of the mountain has several openings into a massive cave that Xoran had been turning into an underground forest.
