Ancestry
Amoguses are carbon-based, DNA-based sentient humanoid organisms native to Adnar. They are thought to be derived from deep sea animals living in oxygen-poor regions. This theory is corroborated by the fact that amoguses have blue, hemocyanin-based blood.
Morphology
Morphology of a typical amogus
Amoguses appear as bean-shaped bipedal creatures. Their skin is entirely made of a soft, mallable leather-like materials, although amoguses living near copper deposits are also often “infected” with copper and grows copper crystals on their skin. The most common skin colors in Adnaran amoguses are orange and cyan.
An adult amogus has an average height of 1 – 1.5 m and average weight of 65 – 110 kg.
On the face of an amogus is a visor-like photosensitive organ. Amoguses can preceive pretty much the same colors as other trichromy humanoid species, but has heightened sensitivity for the colors of copper (oranges and cyan). The field of view of an amogus is approximately 120°. By virtue of having only one photosensitive organ, amoguses cannot perceive depth very effectively.
Amoguses do not have arms, feet, or toes, but they have two hands. Their hands are spherical and can levitate a short distance away from their body. The skeleton of an amogus is made of a single long bone spanning vertically in its body.

Notes
- ↑ For the sake of uniformity, Adnar uses “amoguses” as the plural for “amogus” in all communications.
- ↑ If you want to add the word “amogus” to your clong, at least keep the root “amogu” or something[citation needed].
