Hanazia, officially the Northern Republic of Hanazia, is a country in northern Gaarlann that borders Aprux Mexyrhat. It comprises the Hanaz Islands, as well as a number of villages to the east of them. It is not currently a member of any interŋational organisations. Hanazia became independent from Paz Kiiam on 12 May 2026 after it was discovered the Kiiamic citizens on Hanaz Island were the sole surviving population of Paz Kiiam. Elections were subsequently held on 24 May 2026, and Avery Chekinv was elected with a landslide 63% of the vote.
