Syafeg (Augish: Сяфеғ [ˈsʲa.fɛɢ], Hebrew: סיאפג, Latin: Arbustívum [ɐr.bʊs.ˈtiː.u̯ʊ̃ˑ], Lixua: SÁRBOꓤ/sārbow [ˈsaːr.bɑɣ]) is a co-protectorate of the Republic of Twanland and the Reborn Nguhcordian Empire of Latium.
Etymology
The names "Syafeg"/"סיאפג" comes from a Augicisation of Chulhaam "Saĭfeġ" [ˈsaj.ɸɛɢ], which derives from "Saĭfeẇḳy" [ˈsaj.ɸɛ.ɢə], meaning "Tree Place".
The Latin name "Arbustīvum" is a calque of "Saĭfeẇḳy", and means "planted with trees".
The name "SÁRBOꓤ/sārbow" in Lixua comes from the Chulhaam place derivation particle "saĭ-" [saj] blended with the Regnate Latin word "ARBOꓤ" [ɐr.bɔɣ], meaning "tree".
