The Madness Multiverse Missionary (Rokadong:    Urahanil Unihatoska Unotekám) is a pseudo-political, pseudo-religious research institute with two Nguhcraft branches. Their main office is in Azeria, but they also have a daughter office in Ruviyatangan.

Etymology

The MMM has no relation to the Realm of Madness. Rather, their English name is a play on the 2022 movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The Rokadong name means something along the lines of Business of Many Chaotic Worlds.

The logo for the MMM is stylized after the historic script of Middle Nenta, the "West Karan script". This calligraphic script is not in active use by any language, but it is a prestige script in Nentan family languages. It literally means "three Ws", referring to the Rokadong acronym "UUU" (), though notably, the number 3 is stylized after the Liðakuin numeral, rather than the numerals actually used in Middle Nenta writing.

Campus

The Blue Skies Tower during its construction

The Blue Skies Research Tower is the headquarters of the Madness Multiverse Missionary. It is a skyscraper reaching from roughly sea level to the "Nguhcraft build limit", Y level 320. It is currently still under construction, and is comprised almost exclusively of basalt and glass, though there are two major decorations on the outside of the tower: the Madness Multiverse Missionary logo, and a large clock. Both of these decorations were added on May 21, 2025, while the tower still only had three completed floors.

Each floor above the first holds a different office or research area. The Office of War is on the 13th floor, "because it's an unlucky number."

Activities

Scientific activities

The MMM was originally conceived as the Rauratoshanian Institute for Physical Investigation (RIPI), an institute that fundraised for experiments to test theoretical physics. RIPI was founded in Kanata 72 by Karanian-Rauratoshanian physics researcher and philosopher Hira Ayemânsu and Debazi business mogul Tama Okina[1]. In the original timeline of Rauratoshan, RIPI did rebrand into the MMM, but only after Okina's independent investigation into the Debazi executive office's history (after realizing how quickly Debaz advanced technologically over his lifetime) resulted in him learning about parallel universes.

However, in the timeline this version of the MMM comes from, it rebranded after Dr. Ayemânsu accidentally sent Rauratoshan into Nguhcraft. Regardless of the method, the MMM is now focused upon so-called "spacetime tunneling", through which alternate timelines and universes can be explored.

Non-scientific activities

While the MMM is not overtly a political organization, a solid chunk of the papers in the MMM's library are not entirely scientific. Dr. Ayemânsu in particular is known for using a section of the MMM's journal as a dumping ground for anything philosophical that they think of, including political treatises criticizing Rauratoshan's royal family, capitalism, various religious beliefs, and so on.

This activity, perpetuated and enhanced by several of Ayemânsu's subordinates, has earned the MMM a reputation as a political and religious force, albeit an unofficial one on both counts. Ayemânsu is seen as a seminal Rauratoshanian philosopher, particularly among communists, and is known more for this than for his discovery of the multiverse.

Notes

  1. At the time, no title was given, but he is now known as Okina Sr. as his son also has the same name.
