Rules of TEHR
Rules of TEHR are the rules which govern the way TEHR is carried out.
Participation
Announcing participation
- The deadline for announcing ones participation is 2 October 2025, 23:59 UTC+00:00.
- A participant must provide the following:
- Access to their horses for gathering of information. See below.
- Name of the horse
- Name of themselves
- Name of the country which they represent
General rules
- A participant may also be a horse ONLY if they were GMO’d to be a horse. See: GMO Suqi.
- It is forbidden to use stimulates – potions, beacons, or other effects that may alter the way the horse or the rider behaves. This includes Farmer’s delight horsefeed.
- People who have been GMO’d into horses may use leaping potions, if they notify and give their potions to the organizers
- It is required to drive on a horse. (which includes skeletal and zombie horses)
- It is forbiden to use mods that would show the statistics of a horse. The organizers of the race are alowed to use such mods, to gather information to be kept private until the horse retires. As such, organizers are forbidden from participating or betting.
- Horses must be transported to their gate before the race starts. If you are having problems with the transport of the horse, contact the organizers for an airlift.
- The race will be recorded by the organizers. If you wish for your voice to be cut-out or obscured, contact the organizers after the race.
- The participation is free.
- The organizers are bound to pay you your prize, according to your place in the race.
Rules for participants
- You are forbidden to wear armor or bare weapons, except for leather armor, see [2].
- You are bound to follow the instructions of the organizers each time you lay foot on the track.
- In case of an accident, the organizers will pay you accordingly, provided that the accident happend – as the name implies – accidentaly, and that it was not provoked by any party invloved.
- You are not allowed to get off your horse from the moment you sit in it shortly before the race, until the race is over and the horses are secured in their gates.
- You are not allowed to insult other participants.
- During each round, you must stay within bounds of the track (terracotta). Also see [1]
Rules for horses
- The horse needs to be able to jump at least a fence height.
- Horses may be named with two-part names
- The names cannot be offensive, disturbing, or hard to pronounce.
- Horses born from previous contestants must have a two-part name.
- Horses must wear leather armor dyed accordigly, see [2].
Other rules
- Verrify to the organizers that you are an observer – for data’s sake.
Betting
- You must be present at the event in order to bet.
- You need to bring the value you will bet to the event.
- If you are a participant, you can bet on other participants, but not on yourself.
- Betting occurs through text messages on the „Betting” channel, on the FERRA discord server.
- Betting opens 3 minutes before the race, and closes shortly before the race starts.
- Betting is allowed in diamond only.
- 1st place bets receive 125% of the value they had bet. (10 diamonds > 12.5 diamonds)
- 2nd place bets receive 50% of the value they had bet. (10 diamonds > 5 diamonds)
- 3rd place and lower loose the bet to the organizers. (10 diamonds > 0 diamonds)
- The values round down to the benefit of the organizers
- If the values are too small to hand out a profit, the organizers hand out the value + one diamond.
- The losing bets will be collected by the organizers after the race.
- The values and profits will be handed out by the organizers after the race. If the organizers run out of diamods, checks will be handed out and concerned persons will be notified when to monetize them.
- Those who bet, but did not claim or pay, will need to pay the value they bet regardless of the outcome, as the „Betting” channel is binding.
Penal code
- You must not kill participants, their horses, observers or other people (16 Slab fee)
- You must not rig the race (16 slab fee)
- You must not disturb participants (8 slabs fee)
- You must not disturb the track in any form (6 slabs fee)
- You must not disturb observers (6 slabs fee)
- You must not tresspass (4 slabs fee)
- You must pay the required amount of value if you lose the bet (value + 8 slablets fee)
Dissqualification
- The Participant brakes any rule from section 1.2 – DISSQUALIFIED
- The Participant’s horse brakes any rule from section 1.3 – DISSQUALIFIED
Postscriptum
- [1] Terracotta/White Terracotta lines – regular track | Yellow Terracotta – Crossable when the race starts, act as bounds when performing the rest of the round | Red Terracotta – Finish line | Cinnebar Bricks – bounding lines.
- [2] Participant must wear leather armor, cap and boots dyed in black, tunic and pants dyed in colours of the representation. There must be two versions of colours, in case other participants colours might repeat. Horse armor needs to be dyed accordingly to the armor of the participant, with two colour versions.
