Big Amogus (Bák A-mô-gu-xơ) is the ŋational deity of the Communist Empire of Adnar, the subject of worship by the eponymous state religion. Big Amogus is androgynous, but is referred to using masculine deity pronouns (capital He/Him).
Appearance
Big Amogus takes the form of a bean-shaped figure, commonly seen holding a kitchen knife. The official Adnar faith describes Big Amogus and His knife as being made of raw copper, His blood blue because of hemocyanin and containing lethal amounts of copper (100% v/v).
The border of the Adnar is shaped in the likeness of Big Amogus.
Characteristics
Big Amogus suffers from Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle but on a macroscopic scale. In practice, it means that the more you know about where Big Amogus is, the less you know how fast He is currently heading towards your location.
Significance
Big Amogus plays an important role in the faith and indoctrination of the people of Adnar. He is the figurehead / immortal leader of the Adnar government, and is credited for every action and statement of the government. The Supreme Leader of Adnar is said to be chosen by Big Amogus Himself, and is responsible for acting in His behalf, spreading His gospel and His boundless love / hatred.
There are no clauses anywhere stating that Big Amogus cannot replace, kill, or revive the current Supreme Leader. There has been occassions when Big Amogus tried to attack Adnagaporp the Supreme Leader. While the Supreme Leader still receives Big Amogus’ blessings, both the Supreme Leader and Big Amogus remains immortal.
Big Amogus blesses the copper ore, bestowing upon Adnar-mined copper desirable properties. Big Amogus also declares Adnar the only truly qualified ŋation to trade copper with.

- Everyone knows what Big Amogus look like, but nobody knows where he is, and perhaps that is more concerning.
- Big Amogus is loosely inspired by Big Brother from George Orwell’s 1984.
- Big Amogus serves as Adnar's internet modem, where he is connected to ethernet cables whenever Adnagaporp needs internet access.
- Big Amogus only sends emails, never reads them.
