Ruxese (mountain range)

The Ruxese mountain range is a major mountain range in the western Land of Chaos, largely inside Dróstsiśtsi. It takes its name from the city of Ruxese (city), which lies along a peak of the range.

Geography

The range consists of a number of mountains jutting out roughly linearly, roughly between z=4500 and z=5000.

Mt. Ruxese (Kośtsiśtsi: máktsi Ǵuśesexó, Tosï: ruxe Ruxese), formerly Mt. Iris (Kośtsiśtsi: máktsi Rittśuxó ['mɔk.tsɯ 'rit.tʃyçø], Tosï: ruxe Iriqu [ɣuʃe ʔiritʃu], Mupã: Hèwfocãw Iricu [xɛwˈfoʧãw̃ iˈriʧu]) was the mountain around which the nation of Heufauna was founded. Today its peak constitutes the city of Ruxese in Dróstsiśtsi; this led to the mountain often being named after the city, which was eventually reflected in the official name being changed from Mt. Iris to Mt. Ruxese.
