Fitáyaki
Fitáyaki (Rokadong [fìˈtájâcī]) is the consumer eɱail service for Rauratoshan. It was created by Raulineshah Teska.
History
Fitáyaki was launched in 2428 MK, as an attempt to keep the Quill Kingdom identity alive through connecting those transported from there under a familiar-sounding name. Thematically, it is named after the Palontanan and Rauratoshanian tradition of keeping town message boards (called surayaki, literally "text board") near the center of town, as a solution to time-agnostic communication prior to the Internet.
Functionality
Core Fitáyaki functions similarly to Bluesky or Xitter, where posts can contain at most 400 bytes of text (an estimation of 250 Rokadong syllables) and four images or one short video. Raulineshah Teska tried to sell the solution to its own problem in the form of a premium account type, Ruvirauli (literally "electric ink"), alongside other features like message header customization and the ability to begin a voice-DM. Of course, due to Fitáyaki's somewhat open code, users just made plugins that nullifies this, called Laurada ("seagull", due to having a lot of feathers), Suralanyu ("pigeon"), and Mayakucif ("hyena"); actually having Ruvirauli still puts a marker on your profile though, so it's common to make fun of people who have it instead of using plugins.
Fitáyaki also has a groups feature, where users can create, follow, and join groups that have a shared interest. Anyone can make a group, though non-Ruvirauli users have to wait a week before adding anyone. For example, it's common for there to be groups for speakers of a language other than Rokadong or English - while Fitáyaki does try to match languages based on the set language of the poster and viewer, there's only one such field, and in exchange, if one interacts with posts of another language, that language will be occasionally recommended as well. Users tend to skip the whole shebang and just join the Lunarian group, for example.
Role-playing notes
While most Rokadong text is romanized via a transcription, Astaryuu's romanized Rokadong on Fitáyaki posts will always be transliterated, as Discord cannot render Rokadong text without, presumably, a BetterDiscord theme (I don't know if Vencord themes can have arbitrary fonts).
