Koraalrijk
Koraalrijk [koːˈʁaːlˌʁɛi̯k], sometimes jokingly referred to as Koraaalrijk [koːˈʁaːːːlˌʁɛi̯k], by its residents, is a semi-autonomous territory within the ŋation of Pelialis. It contains the westernmost of the country's four islands, referred to as Koraalrijk island when specification is necessary.
Geography
Koraalrijk is a primarily underwater society located in the northern Sea of Arktsev, and surrounded mostly by the southeastern maritime border of Fenizuela. Koraalrijk island is the only piece of land in the territory. It is an artificial island constructed by the Dukender in order to colonize Koraalrijk in the name of Pelialis. It is the smallest island in the ŋation.

Government
Koraalrijk has its own government with jurisdiction only over local matters within the territory. In fact, Koraalrijk is the only region in Pelialis with its own government.
Koraalrijk's government answers directly to the Dukender of Pelialis. On paper, the government is largely under the direct influence of the Dukender. However, since the Dukender prioritizes silliness, there is rarely any instances of interference from the ŋational government and Koraalrijk is mainly left alone politically.
Residents
A resident of Koraalrijk is known as a Koraalrijke [koːˈʁaːlˌʁɛi̯kə], translating to "coral-rich one" in Dutch. The plural is Koraalrijken.
The residents of Koraalrijk use their regional government to their advantage to improve their quality of live beyond the rest of Pelialis. As mentioned previously, the Dukender rarely enacts political change, so other areas of Pelialis are not afforded this luxury. Because of this relationship, the Koraalrijken hold some degree of patriotism for Pelialis and the Dukender.
