New Rome claimed to carry the torch left by the Western Roman Empire depicted in fictional media. New Rome claimed to carry the torch left by the Western Roman Empire depicted in fictional media. New Rome, according to its Empress, had the sole goal of "Liberating Mankind" from "Brutish traditions and cultures", as well as "Spreading the Glory of Rome to all".
