New Rome (Nova Romanese: Nova Roma) was a Ŋation covering the land formerly controlled by Newkent. It was proclaimed under 29/12/2025 by Julia I who was the Ŋations first and only ruler. New Rome claimed to carry the torch left by the Western Roman Empire depicted in fictional media. New Rome, according to its Empress, had the sole goal of "Liberating Mankind" from "Brutish traditions and cultures", as well as "Spreading the Glory of Rome to all". It was unknown whether this was intended to be done via Force or Trade/Missionaries. It also sought to assimilate the Newkentish "barbarians" previously living on the Island.

The flag of NR. The Red and Gold symbolise continuity with the old empire, while the sword represents pride in the military.
