While the name might imply that the Faxhylan started in 1417, it acctualy ended in that year, and the name was chosen as a definitive endpoint to the Sea States Period. Faxhylan of 1417 starts in year 1408 of the Tiamisian Moon Calendar with the war between the Kingdom of Tiamis (also called Quingdom of Tiamis by modern scholars[1]) and an aliagence led by the state of Semgaht, and ended in 1417 with the annexation of Tix, the most sacred place in the Apruxosphere. Although the state was yet to capture all Apruxi lands, there would be no wars or hostile takeovers until the Apruxo-British war.

Notes

  1. Iom Esuretikam of the University of Tiamis (Better know by his birth name Johm Esoterica in the west) points out that while kings and rulers of the Tiamis polis were mostly males, that trend was not set by customs or succesion rules, but was caused by exceptionaly low rates of female ruling class children surviveing to adulthood. When women decedants of the king survived to adulhood, they were usually first in line of succession, regardles of other, even older male heirs, simply beacause such survival was a special and very good omen. This was in contrast to the majority of the surrounding states, where many dynasties ended by lack of male heirs. This may be the cause of success of the Tiamis Quingdom, as one dynasty ruled the city for over a thousend years, ended only by failed love attempts and subsequent escape of the last monarch, Ionis.
