The Paleo-Oberian languages are a set of language families that originally were considered to be Oberian near-exclusively. Since the original coining of the term "Paleo-Oberian", several of these families have since been renamed to better encapsulate the region they are spoken in.
Families
Paleo-Oberian A
Paleo-Oberian A consisted solely of Armenian, and is the Nguhcraft equivalent of Armenian. It was officially renamed to Avazistani upon the discovery of speakers of it within Avazistan.
Paleo-Oberian B
Paleo-Oberian B consisted of Malagasy, Maori, and Tahitian, and is the Nguhcraft equivalent of Austronesian.
It was officially renamed to Paleo-Agmatic after iopvixens told Reisen Inaba (among others) that Sirenian was probably part of the family, even though Sirenian is not proven to be in the family yet.
Paleo-Oberian C
Paleo-Oberian C consisted of Breton, Sand Welsh, Occitanic Gaelic, and Cornish, and is the Nguhcraft equivalent of Celtic.
Reisen renamed this family to Monke-Kiiamic herself upon taking over the duty of managing the Nguhcraft Language Sheet, because four languages in four ŋations is probably enough to give it a non-placeholder name.
Paleo-Oberian D
Paleo-Oberian D consists of Lakota, and is the Nguhcraft equivalent of Siouan. No other related language has been discovered in Nguhcraft.

Paleo-Oberian E consists of Classical Nāhuatl, and is the Nguhcraft equivalent of Uto-Aztecan. No other related language has been discovered in Nguhcraft.
