The State of Confusion ([stejʔᵗ ʌv kʰʌɲɥ̊uːʒʌ̃]) is a joke ŋation created on 22 January 2025 by Confused Idealist[1]
Banner and flag
The banner is the "flag of Theseus": a white flag, given a black per fess, then a black inverted per fess.
The naval flag of the State of Confusion is the flag of Theseus with a white skull on it, and two X-shaped sticks below it.[citation needed]
Territory
The State of Confusion "owns all lands that don't own themselves." What this means is unclear.
Politics
Rulership
The State of Confusion is a sophocracy. Only people who do not want to rule the State of Confusion can do so. Confused Idealist does not particularly want to rule it, and so is de jure leader until another wants to do so even less.
Constitution
Only nationals can become citizens of the State of Confusion, and only citizens can become nationals of the State of Confusion. This means that the official population of the State of Confusion will forever be exactly 1, until and unless Confused Idealist leaves the ŋation.
