The Rauratoshan Vulgar Authority (Rokadong: Rokemya Harumfi Rauratoshan) is an academic organization[disputed] in Rauratoshan. Their office is on the Island of :worst_anguish:.
Beliefs
The RVA believes that all language is prone to errors, and that it is the duty of institutions to correct them, forcibly if so. Such errors that the RVA has spoken out against include, but are not limited to:
- English phonology: lack of rhotacization, spontaneous rhotacization of final schwa
- English lexicon: use of "literally" figuratively, the adjective "skibidi"
- English grammar: use of singular they, amplificatory double negation
- Spanish phonology: seseo, ceceo
- Spanish lexicon: "el crismes" and other such English loans
- Spanish grammar: leísmo, (de)queísmo, use of "-ísimo" and "muy" at the same time
- Rokadong phonology: tékuhasá
- Rokadong lexicon: use of Debazi loanwords instead of calques
- Rokadong grammar: helping minar
Activities
- The RVA's resident Spanish expert Mahima Azahar wrote a lengthy diatribe about various "errors" in the Spanish language.[citation needed][1]
