The Isles of Silly or Silly Islands, formerly the Lobsterman Islands are an archipelago west of Imerchal, south of the Kôpang Archipelago and north of Marcyland making up the Republic of Kyaw Cen, one of the three republics of the Kingdom of Kyaw Cen. It can be geographically divided into five regions: Kyaw Cen Island, North Island, the Pierced Islands, Lobster Island and Sheep Island. Since 04 May 2024, the archipelago has been divided into Parkow and the Lobster Territory. Before the 27 April, it was split into the City of Kyaw Cen and the West Sheep Island and Sandcastle Island Reserve.

Name

The name Isles of Silly usually refers to the archipelago in English, but does not have an equivalent in Kyawcenni. Kyawcenni speakers refer to the islands either as Paysweh Kyawcenne (Kyawcenni archipelago), Šingdwainkoylê Kyawcenne (Republic of Kyaw Cen/Kyawcenni Republic) or simply Kyawcen (Kyaw Cen).
Until 22 May 2024, the official name of the federal subject was Kyaw Cen Region.

History

Kyaw Cen was founded on 19 November 2023.

Geography

Kyaw Cen Island

Kyaw Cen Island (lit. Sand Island Island), is the island that served as the foundation of Kyaw Cen City (later Parkow). It has largely been terraformed and covered by stone bricks.

North Island

North Island is the northern island in the archipelago. Most of it is covered by a jungle, which was made a natural reserve by the Government of Kyaw Cen. Even today, it still stays largely undiscovered and untouched.

Pierced Islands

The Pierced Islands are a group of small, uninhabited islets with deep, long caves piercing them.

Lobster Island

Lobster Island, formerly Sandcastle Island, is an island that has been completely flat before Discord user Dr Lobster has built a sandcastle on it in March 2022. The sandcastle is considered protected under Kyawcenni law, but on 03 May 2024, Quing Marcy has built three flags on it, after they had found out the original builder's intention to do so in 2022. The flags have been modeled after a photo of a draft of the sandcastle in Creative mode sent by Dr Lobster during the initial construction of the castle. They have been informed of the modification of the castle by Quing Marcy on the same day. Only two days later, on 05 May 2024, Dr Lobster has visited the Server for the first time in almost two years. They thanked the Quing for protecting the island and building the flags. Shortly after, Dr Lobster renamed the island from Marcy's name Sandcastle Island to Lobster Island and started to work on the castle again. Quing Marcy stated that it was a huge honor to finally have the opportunity to talk to a native of Kyaw Cen.

Sheep Island

Sheep Island (Kyawcenni: Kyaw Hęstauyne) is the southern green island with a pre-raid house, which ever since the construction of Kyaw Cen City, has been damaged by eepers. Its fenced part has later been used as a cow farm by Marcy I, who has also bred numerous colored sheep on the island and naming it after them, though she hasn't stolen any belongings of the former resident.
