Ostmare
Ostmare is the name of the only stronghold in the Land of Chaos, and the territory around it. It was created by the Ostmare Treaty, where it became a five way condominium between Latium Regnātum, Vilantnen, Eistówú, CMCic Federation, and Realm of Madness. However, it became only three way after the last two have dissolved. Dróstsiśtsi and Otslahue later joined the treaty agreement, making it again five way. On 5 Nov 2025 the territory was transfered to LoCATE, becoming jointly owned by its 11 members.
Geographically, the stronghold is in the deepslate layer, but the territory extends upwards indefinitely. It lies in a small ocean between Vilantnen and Otslahue.
Its name comes from the Viossa phrase "Ostmare" meaning "Eastern Sea", in relation to the sea's position from Vipolis.
It was the site of a minor scuffle on the discord on 5 October 2025 when a border shift in Vilantnen led to it incorrectly being mapped as wilderness for a time.
