Ńápińe

The Ńápińe (Þeurilá: NIpiNo), meaning ‘Catastrophe (especially by Jiwe)’ in Śácamþaśá, refers to the events leading up to and including the fall of Þunan Qumreá.

Context

While officially an oligarchy of merchants, Þunan Qumreá was in practice an absolute dictatorship ruled by Rijyc Śiłja, who strong-armed the other merchants through a monopoly on the shipbuilding business, which in turn made her head of the navy. Her only real competitor was Seo.

Creation of Tunnan

After the Bezuvate of Xarslasja concluded its agreements with neighboring nations and the burgeoning Patra in the fall of 2025, the Xarslasja Terrestrial Army moved in and began establishing forts in the former lands of Ajasiq and Muwewesaj. Fort Mohave was established in Ashton in December of 2025. It was then the task of the XTA to subdue the local warlords and incorporate them into the Bezuvate by whatever means necessary. The former TQ territory, which would later be split into two Counties of Xarslasja, was declared the Tunnan Military District. Heavily protected by the XTA, county-funded homesteading groups called "filibusters" established towns throughout the area, including Show Low and Tunnan.
