After an act of the Xarslasja Legislature in January 2025, a series of national forests were created in Xarslasja. In these areas, no construction or industrial activity would be permitted within 6 blocks of the surface.

Forests and Ecological Preserves

"National Forests" and "Ecological Preserves" both carry the same legal status. "Ecological Preserves" are simply areas comprised mostly of desert or swamp instead of proper forest.
