Onparu & Koaru (Middle Onpasu: Ônpāru mí Kuāru [ôːmpàːɾù mí kùàːɾù], Middle Yoshi: Áunpāji mí Kwāji [á͜ùmpàd͡ʑì mí kwàːd͡ʑì], Middle Koasu: Aontǎru mí Koǎru [ā͜ōntàːɾɯ̀ mí kòàːɾɯ̀]) is a geopolitical region in Hlambigla and Slabland (Slabigla), populated by the Iwasu people. There are multiple countries in the region, notably Quingdom of Onparu and Quingdom of Yoji (vassal of Onparu). The region was formalised by EmyFel after the Conquest of Yoji by Onparu on the 27th of January 2026[1].
It is a poor region with no industry and high wealth inequality. Most residents live off land and sometimes trade goods with neighbouring settlements, while aristocracy lives in castles, where the majority of resources are stored. A large portion of the region is densely forested, including jungle spanning its northeast.
History
Pre-Onparu

Quingdom of Onparu
On 27th of January 2026 Quingdom of Yoji became a vassal to the Quingdom of Onparu according to the Treaty of Yoji Castle, creating the first large government in the region since the dissolution of Hentzo.
On 14th of February 2026 at around 12:57 UTC the gate of Onparu Castle was blown up by a creeper[2]. The repairs only took about an hour but the restored gate now featured an updated sign with correct spelling[3] of Onparu.
On 18th of February 2026 an earthquake[citation needed] shook the north of Yoshi Island[4]. Later locals reported another earthquake[citation needed] in the same part of the island[5], claiming it was doing of a spirit named Pěnemmíja.

Infrastructure
Roads
There is a soulsand road under construction going from Tanzang to Weisterian, which crosses the strait between a peninsula in the center of the region and turns east.
There is a path connectiong all settlements on Yoshi Island, as well as a short path connecting Onparu Castle to the neighbouring Onparu village.
Railroad
Cenrail central line crosses the region from south to north.
